Exactly. Aren’t liberals the ones always complaining that men don’t show their emotions enough? If he hadn’t shown his very real disgust and devastation, they’d all be claiming he was too calm, cold, and disinterested. There is simply nothing that will ever please this crowd.

I was very impressed with his forcefulness. The time for being polite and deferential (which he certainly was in previous hearings) is OVER. I’m glad he’s speaking up for himself.

His “forcefulness” is the reason he was there in the first place. He comes off like an entitled brat who just found out he’s grounded right before it’s time to leave for beach week. If only Mom grounded him earlier, so he would have had a chance to convince her to change her mind earlier. If Ford came forward earlier, he could have thought up some more doppelgängers and tie it to the Comet Ping Pong child sex ring conspiracy.

You’re absurd. He acted exactly as I would expect anyone falsely accused to act - indignant, outraged, and exhausted. Hope you never have to go through that... or anyone you love.

I would expect some one who was falsely accused to want a proper investigation to clear his name, but not Kavanaugh. Also not to lie about inconsequential things, but not Kavanaugh.

Good catch by the proesecutor that Kavanaugh was at a party with Judge and P.J.. Smyth on July 1 per his calendar. Then the republicans disappeared her.

That said....ANYONE who is so righteous as to say that he was wrong to get upset is insane.

He probably can't couch is daughter's basketball team again
He probably will be a pariah for the rest of his life...people in extremely blue maryland will think he is a rapist.
He probably is fighting to stay married and to do something to get is daughter on his side.

I just think we forget these people are human.

Poor guy. There are far worse things like ill-health, war or having your child be a victim of gun violence Forgive me if I don't shed a tear for a guy accused of attacking women on 3 separate occasions who claims he's a victim.

“Liberals” aren’t “always” anything. The man’s rage scared me.

His “rage”?? So I guess if you were falsely accused of assault, you’d be perfectly polite and calm? PLEASE. He was absolutely permitted to display his utter disgust with this idiocy. Some of the questions he was asked (Senator Whitehouse, I’m looking at you) were beyond what anyone should have to answer - and yet he did. I think he acquitted himself as well as his raw emotions would allow. Which I thought was very well.
Really hope you never have to defend yourself from false accusations. You might actually feel some justified rage.

He lied his ass off to Senator Whitehouse.

Senator Whitehouse made a complete a$$ of himself asking Kavanaugh anything at all about stupid inside jokes from his high school yearbook - all of which were completely irrelevant to the allegations. Whitehouse needs to learn how not to showboat. Also, Cory Booker. Idiots.

I’d only he could request an impartial investigation that could clear his name.

+1 million. For the Anita Hill hearings, 32 witnesses were presented. Republicans chose to not have Mark Judge and others not testify.

She asked him questions and he couldn't answer at all without looking like a freak show. They were okay with him answer angrily to the Democrats, but when he was exploding to THEIR OWN WOMAN "ASSISTANT" - showed what a freak show he is.

Then you didn't get the point of my post. If he is guilty he should go down...but to have him take it w/o doing anything is stupid. Again he is done no matter what.

You have no idea if he’s guilty ? Wtf are you smoking ? What innocent person wouldn’t welcome the FBI investigation ? Or even volunteer to go under a lie detector test ? Also please before hitting submit , do a little spell check . Thanks

I believe fully and wholeheartedly she is lying.

Well she did lie about flying. Supposedly she didn’t want to come to DC because she would have to fly. Turns out she flew to DC in the summer to see family in Rehoboth and has flown to many destinations around the world

I completely believe the assault occurred, but she has no evidence of who did it. The fact that she fell apart for the remainder of high school and two years of college never raised her parents concern or that of a Holton-Arms Arms counselor. People of her SES would have had her at a shrink.

I know - why??

Crickets. She's just fine about flying all over the world. She lied again and again. Sad.

And laughed while she said it. That was weird as hell.

Her lawyers hid many things from her. They didn't tell her that they had used her inability to fly as a stalling tactic. They didn't tell her that Grassley had offered that the committee come and interview her in CA.

I agree. Why do you think?

They could have done this with a forensic interview of Dr Ford in California. Dems wanted to make this a spectacle to discredit and humiliate Kavanaugh to make him withdraw. Let’s see if their plan works. Ford is politically naive and allowed herself to be used. Wait until she sorts out what was done to her by the Democrats.

He was rude to people being polite to him. He showed NO self control. None.

Gosh, I can’t imagine why he’d be upset. Can you?

Drunken rages and public displays of obvious lies can put a strain on a marriage.

What I thought she said was that she was not sure how that would have worked
