If a man is blackout drunk, it would only be an attempted rape because he couldn’t get it up.

Another poster who doesn’t know what a blackout is.
Incidentally, different people have different trigger levels for when they black out. Repeat Heavy drinkers can have memory loss with comparatively less alcphol consumption.
Also, different men have differing abilities to get an erection when intoxicated. It’s a total myth that a man that is “really drunk” can’t get an erection. That’s true for some men, not true for others.

She will have two front doors at her house because of her claustrophobia that prevents her from flying — except to widespread destinations.

“You and your words obsessed with your legacy. Your sentences border on senseless and you are paranoid in every paragraph. How they perceive you!”

(From “Burn.”)

It was running on repeat in my head as he went on and on about grades and basketball and Yale, etc.

Ha, so apropos!

Exactly. Aren’t liberals the ones always complaining that men don’t show their emotions enough? If he hadn’t shown his very real disgust and devastation, they’d all be claiming he was too calm, cold, and disinterested. There is simply nothing that will ever please this crowd.

I was very impressed with his forcefulness. The time for being polite and deferential (which he certainly was in previous hearings) is OVER. I’m glad he’s speaking up for himself.

His “forcefulness” is the reason he was there in the first place. He comes off like an entitled brat who just found out he’s grounded right before it’s time to leave for beach week. If only Mom grounded him earlier, so he would have had a chance to convince her to change her mind earlier. If Ford came forward earlier, he could have thought up some more doppelgängers and tie it to the Comet Ping Pong child sex ring conspiracy.

You’re absurd. He acted exactly as I would expect anyone falsely accused to act - indignant, outraged, and exhausted. Hope you never have to go through that... or anyone you love.

“Liberals” aren’t “always” anything. The man’s rage scared me.

His “rage”?? So I guess if you were falsely accused of assault, you’d be perfectly polite and calm? PLEASE. He was absolutely permitted to display his utter disgust with this idiocy. Some of the questions he was asked (Senator Whitehouse, I’m looking at you) were beyond what anyone should have to answer - and yet he did. I think he acquitted himself as well as his raw emotions would allow. Which I thought was very well.
Really hope you never have to defend yourself from false accusations. You might actually feel some justified rage.

+1 well said

He was rude to people being polite to him. He showed NO self control. None.

I have been falsely accused of a crime, and I was quite calm about. Of course it sucks shit. Who wouldn't be upset? But you don't yell at the cop arresting you unless you want to get beat or shot, you don't yell when they are setting bail unless you want to sit in jail, and when you finally get to a judge, you just tell him the facts calmly. And that's how you don't spend 10 years in jail for something you didn't do.

But if you are entitled asshole putting on a show for the rubes, I guess you just yell and it's all good.

I’ll bet his wife wishes he were an ibanker. Or gastrointerologist.

Isn’t sleeping with a drunk person “rape” according to feminists?

It's rape according to everyone -- and the law in pretty much every state.

Dr. Ford said today at the hearing that she and Squi had been going out together and that he introduced her to Kavanaugh and Judge. Kavanaugh did not mention this at all, it was something Dr. Ford talked about during her testimony. She did not want to use his real name because she didn't want him brought into this, so she was using his nickname.

I have no idea if he is guilty or innocent, I'm leaning toward guilty.

That said....ANYONE who is so righteous as to say that he was wrong to get upset is insane.

He probably can't couch is daughter's basketball team again
He probably will be a pariah for the rest of his life...people in extremely blue maryland will think he is a rapist.
He probably is fighting to stay married and to do something to get is daughter on his side.

I just think we forget these people are human.

Editorial on Fox News (yes Fox News!) from Trump supporting President Alan Dershowitz
http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/09/27/alan-dershowitz-postpone-kavanaugh-confirmation-until-fbi-can-investigate-accusations-against-him.html
The Senate Judiciary Committee needs to slow down and postpone its vote on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court until the FBI can investigate accusations of sexual misconduct leveled against him by three women.

The accusers and other witnesses should be questioned by the FBI and then be summoned to testify before the Judiciary Committee. All sides have an interest in a full and thorough examination of these serious charges.

Maybe we can get closer to the truth, although that is not certain. But right now there are too many unanswered question to bring the confirmation of Kavanaugh – currently a judge on the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia – to a vote of the Judiciary Committee as scheduled on Friday, much less to a vote of the full Senate.

Yes, sort of like the questions Kavanaugh had drafted in the past: "Would you be lying if you said that the president placed a cigar in your vagina" ? The nerve of some people! Spare me your pearl-clutching...

That's funny because he acted pretty much exactly how bill cosby acted too.
