I bet George will go. Before Louise & James. |
I mean they're all directly descended from the Mad King Georges of the 1700s - so its likely. And all the royals married family members up until...Queen Elizabeth II - so its even more likely that the genetic diseases were passed down. Just like many of Victoria's descendants have Haemophilia - a blood disease. I think there are good number of royals today who still have it, but modern medicine and 'patient's rights' means its a secret from the public. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haemophilia_in_European_royalty |
No. Louise & James are grandchildren and have known Phillip far longer than George - a great-grandchild. Prince Phillip and Lady Louise were especially close. https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1421066/lady-louise-windsor-prince-philip-dead-carriage-driving-duke-of-edinburgh-royal-news |
But that’s all more than 15. I don’t mind if they have a bigger funeral but the optics are bad. Unless they can say everyone is vaccinated then it’s allowed. |
Why do people talk about Zara but forget her older brother Peter Phillips? |
Because he's extremely forgettable. Even the pictures of Anne with one of her children is always Zara and Anne. Plus Zara actually has a (passable) career in horse-race stable management and was a Olympian. |
The number was never 15 apparently, its 30. Funerals are allowed up to 30 mourners starting on April 12th (in 2 days). Wakes/memorials, weddings, christenings, and like can only have up to 15. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/prime-minister-sets-out-roadmap-to-cautiously-ease-lockdown-restrictions |

People are openly discussing Republicanism now. Fascinating.
BBC flooded with complaints over Prince Philip death coverage https://www.theguardian.com/media/2021/apr/10/bbc-flooded-with-complaints-over-prince-philip-coverage |
Zara was up and taking walks a few hours after giving birth to the newest baby so that wouldn’t stop her from attending. |
The funeral in Windsor is a 2-hour drive from her mother's home in Gatcombe. You think she'll drive with a nursing 2-week-old that far? I'm asking. Maybe they'll all fly. But technically she should be on bedrest, no? |
|
I change my mind and say Eugenie will definitely attend. Her baby is 3 months old and she's living at Frogmore Cottage which is literally a walk away from the funeral grounds for Phillip.
Not a problem there. |
prince philip and the queen are related-they are both descendants of queen victoria. |
Why should she be on bedrest? |
Elizabeth and Philip were third cousins. Queen Victoria was great grandmother to both of them. |
