PP here. I assumed it wasn't real, but I also thought that the "trial" weekend of her at Balmoral as test of how well she fit in was probably right. Curious what that might have actually meant in real life. |
Heaven forbid anyone have functional relationships with their in-laws. |
He’d rather have had Meghan at the top of the list. |
Well, in this case the gathering should be more about Prince Phillip than William. Especially since this is his Grandfather. I can't imagine having my parents in law attend my Grandparents' covid era funeral. It's odd. |
You are not William so I don’t understand how your opinion is relevant. |
Although considerably younger than Prince Philip, he like Michael and Carol Middleton quite a bit and thought Kate brought brains and vigor to what was lacking in William. As the child of two hapless parents, William was well on his way to being like Charles, and Philip was determined not to let that happen. |
| This marks the end of an era and signals that change is imminent. The Queen and Prince Philip have reigned for our entire lifetimes, it was a comfort to many and all that we have known. |
Thank you for this kind and rational comment. |
Yeah, it looks like 'many' really want to commemorate this occasion
|
| So have they said who is coming to the funeral? Are Fergues daughters coming? The Tindalls? What about Lady Louise? Archie? |
jesus who cares. you'll find out soon enough when they have the funeral in a week. |
| I wonder if there is some sort of mental illness in this family. Not Phillip but some wacky descendants. Charles? Andrew? Diana? |
I think its likely that Beatrice and Eugenie come just to take heat off Andrew who will definitely come. Fergie isn't coming. The Tindalls should come but Zara just gave birth to an early baby like...two weeks ago so IDK. Definitely Louise and James. No on Archie, Louis, Charlotte, and George. |
