Meghan Markle and Prince Harry News and Updates Part 2

You truly think all your comments about Meghan are just that, not clouded by decades of being conditioned to view women, particularly Black women, as hysterical, irrational, and playing the victim.
I am saying this with all honesty and well intentions; please, please look into what racial bias is and how you are unaware of it. Once you start realizing what it is and how it manifests, I am hopeful that many here will realize that they truly didn't know they were engaged in it.
Because you were conditioned to think you are just telling it like it is.

But, racial power structures are so ingrained in the culture that you truly believe you are not saying or acting in a racist way, even when you are.
Even BBC is acknowledging that this must be addressed, but not the majority of white dcum.

My black friends think she is entitled and spoiled. I don’t think you are reading the room correctly.

Oprah was not buying it either. Frankly, she fit the part of an “entitled Karen” more.

I'm convinced Kate and William are going to have a 4th child after this interview to push him down to #7

But the real question is will they teach their fourth baby to be as racist as they are? Only time will tell...

They can't. Royal babies cost too much money. There were already questions when they had a 3rd. Take a look at all the other royals - the Queen's children only have 2 a piece and the Queen's grandchildren only have 2 a piece (except Kate).

You think that's a coincidence? Some magical combination of infertility and only liking two kids that affected 12 different couples?

You are forgetting Zara who is having her third.

Zara isn’t a Royal. She has no title, is not HRH, and has always worked, as does her husband.

^^
So your advice is that women need to put up with it and shut up and by keeping quiet and keeping their head down they will earn respect???!!! In 2021? In the United Kingdom? Not in Saudi Arabia?

I’d love to know how many of you reviling her are MAGA voters.

Not a MAGA and could literally not care less about her race. It’s interesting and infuriating that we can’t not like someone without being accused of it having something to do with her race. You know you don’t have to like people just because of their race right? I can not like her personality.

I’m as liberal as you can get and hate her because she is better off than 99.999% of people in this world and instead of ignoring the tabloids like the Middleton one does, she spends her fame on whining about her situation. Half a million are dead from Covid in this country, kids haven’t been in school for a year, there is a climate crisis going on, more people than ever are hungry and homeless in this country- and you go on Oprah and talk about how some tabloids made you cry? So you moved to Hollywood for privacy? JFC, what an out of touch fool she is. Who gives a shit about what some crusty old Brit told her about her baby? If you’re going to bring down that toxic family, at least bring up Prince Andrew. She doesn’t care about anyone but herself though.

And sorry to disappoint, but I am a republican and firmly pro-Meghan. Not everything is about politics and people can't be split into clean ideological camps.

What exactly happened to Meghan Markle that was so very bad? Other than the tabloid press, which anyone with a grain of sense knew would be hard on her just as they were on Kate and every other woman before her. Please be specific.

No!! Along with Camilla after she had a few cocktails. Anyone that watched the Crown would reach that conclusion.

Harry also holds the most anger and hate towards his dad.

How is this interview not going to explode international attention on them? They launched grenades at a sovereign and now they will be hounded beyond their worst nightmares by the press. In the meantime, I don't know how many fauxlebrities are going to want to associate with them.

My Black friends? Sure, they could think that that doesn't mean that they do not think everything she experienced is also very, very true and real.
Let us hear what a Black woman has to say about my comment.

Uh, if I had given up my job, citizenship and my life to launch into this endeavor out of love. It not going according to plan in my mid-30s would be terrifying. I think ti's awful how badly they fared/feel despite all the trappings. Racism knows no bounds.

It's nothing to do with race imo. It's all about her lack of character, very revealing.

Was it hard on her or was it creating a dangerous situation of her?

If you go to the main popular African American forum lipstick alley they are all outraged at Meghan’s treatment and supportive of her.

Yes, this was not the way to gain the peace and security they claim to want. And honestly without any real receipts, this interview did not cast them in the best light. You found it cold and oppressive? Understandable, escape and go and live your life with your millions in peace. But that's not what they've chosen to do.
