Coronavirus has been well known for many weeks now. Have you been under a rock? I too have a Disney Cruise with a different departure date. I highly doubt they will cancel. If you are definitely not going, I’d buy the insurance but make sure what you buy will actually cover you. I do not have cancel for any reason, just regular travel insurance, so I am either going or losing a ton of money. Not sure which yet. |
Portugal has no cases. |
I have a bridge in Brooklyn.... |
I’m still planning to see Hamilton at KC in July... I think we will see fewer cases as spring comes around personally. |
I'm not buying any tickets. Last time I went to the symphony, the coughing and throat clearing was driving me nuts. Sadly, I decided I rather listen to a recording, than "cough, cough, cough". |
A person who conducted medical screenings at Los Angeles International Airport tested positive for the virus, the Department of Homeland Security said on Wednesday. The person last worked at the airport on Feb. 21, eight days before showing symptoms of infection, the agency said. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/05/world/coronavirus-news.html |
The very same Harvard epidemiologist has been lowering those numbers significantly. |
LOL. |
This needs to be repeated.. repeatedly. |
Yeah, I peeked into the Hamilton waitlist thread and was surprised that so many people were trying for tickets again. Then realized that I should not be surprised. People are just burying their heads in the sand and are choosing to believe this pandemic is no big deal. |
But what's your point? You want to shut down all air travel now? Then say that. No need to throw blame around. |
You mean like the lady who booked her Disney cruise LAST WEEK? |
Blame? These are facts. Since it needs to be more clear out for you: * All unnecessary travel is short sighted/foolish/egocentric and puts individuals, communities, states, and countries at risk.* |
Okay great. Then have these big rich corporations GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK. We'll wait. |
There is always a risk you might lose money on a trip. Nothing is ever guaranteed. This is a pandemic. With close to 100,000 people infected worldwide. Refusal to acknowledge actual consequences is simply negligent. |
