I’d rather be stuck in Paris than here. Flight is on time but wow the airport is desserted.

You’ll change your tune if you get sick overseas. Good luck finding your comfort foods over there.

I'm mad this person didn't come back and tell us how their Paris COVID-19 trip went.

After they left -
- French cases of coronavirus ballooned to over 5,000
- National tourists attractions including the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and Versailles were shut down
- Paris went on lockdown
- The U.S. government issued a travel ban from Europe

So....yeah.

She’s there for a month. I think she’ll be fine .

The entirety of France is shut down. The President just announced a nationwide quarantine. Borders have been closed and the French government is penalizing anyone on the streets $400 per infraction. That doesn’t even take into account the entire country has a massive viral outbreak.

Thats the opposite of fine.

U.S. borders will be closed within 72 hours. I hope a) she didn't get sick in France and hospitalized, and b) she can make it back on time.
