Kim kardashian just released video of Taylor Swift's convo on her snapchat

They are astute and have made money by exploiting themselves. I do admire them because women like them usually get exploited by others - pimps, porn industry etc. They have not turned into victims and raked in millions in cash. They have also become celebrities and now have a chance for a relatively normal life. I mean that no one thinks that North West will be permanently scarred because her mom was a porn star.

They also went for Black men from originally modest backgrounds who had become wealthy because they were talented in sports or entertainment. As such, their need for respectability was less because they were not with WASPy men and they did not have to fit in old money high society where the standards of behaviour was higher.

In short - went with Blacks who thought they were hot, not WASPs who were snobs.

Now, the truth is that they have provided entertainment in these past few bleak weeks of terror bombings, police brutality, snipers killing cops, Trump, atrocities on women, global warming and mass extinction of wildlife that we are witnessing.

Isn't it strange that this society has become so immune to lack of decency in our celebrities? Trump, Palin, Duggars, Kardashians?

Kim K is basically a porn star. Her sister is an unwed mother of 3 or 4. Their dad is milking being semi-transgender. Her cougar mom has a boy toy. There is ghetto drama around this family. All celebs who associate with Kim K should beware that she records them secretly.

This is a really cruel and trashy post. Kim was young and at worst was manipulated by her mother into doing something she clearly regretted (with a long term romantic partner) as she sued vivid entertainment (and got a settlement) when they released the video four years after it was made. Her sister was in a long term relationship with her children't father and only broke up with him after years of trying to get him treatment for his addictions. These people are human beings, just like your precious Taylor. They put it all out there so they are of course welcoming this kind of trashy criticism, but it certainly doesn't say much about you that you seem to take pleasure in someone being sexually exploited and another woman trying to hold her relationship together for her children. And I do not watch KUWTK or any other Kardashian thing. I'm not a fan, but I don't like when people talk about celebrities like this. Maybe you should go watch the music video he made that you so clearly detest, its critiquing people like you.

Also, since clearly you all missed it in the BUCKETS of coverage, KIM DIDN'T TAPE TAYLOR. Kanye has repeatedly says he tapes the development of all of his albums for his records. She clearly had access to it, edited it and released it but she wasn't sneaking cell phone coverage behind kanye's back. Taylor just got caught fair and simple. She'd get a lot more credit if she just owned up to it and apologized and said she made a mistake instead of trying to be all high and mighty about it. I never thought in a million years I'd say TS and Kanye were even after that VMA debacle but they are even, this was really effed up. Effed up that it kind of seems like a mean girl master plan.

Just because these Kardashians don't mind a little (or a lot) of trashiness in their lives does not give them the right to try to drag an unwilling participant into their seedy behavior.

Taylor has just as much right to her own image as they do. Kim needs to leave her alone.

Yes, but when part of her image is built on being "bullied" by someone else, the accused "bully" has a right to participate in the narrative.

If Taylor ever talks to those two again then she will have no sympathy from me. But I think she will move on from this. I really do.

Taylor seems to have a lot of 'feuds.' More than anyone else. At one point does she become the common thread instead of the innocent victim of SO MANY PEOPLE?

I don't know anything about these people, but I dl know that TS might be the target of jealous people, and that she may have learned to defend herself early on in the music business.

And other famous people are somehow NOT the target of jealous people? People TS has feuds with (just off the top of my head, not comprehensive):

Katy Perry
Camilla Belle
Demi Lovato
Jake Gyllenhaal
Harry Styles
John Mayer
K&K
Diplo
Lorde (they are friends now but they had a feud back in the day)
Nikki Minaj
TINA FEY AND AMY POHLER!
Chloe Moretz

Honorable mention to Selena Gomez off and on, they are friends now but they have DEF had drama

That is a LOT of drama dude. I have not gotten in serious drama with that many people in my life for sure! And somehow all those other people don't have feuds with everyone!

Rihanna has recently performed two songs. One written by Taylor and one written by Kanye.

The song written by Taylor is a hit for Rihanna (who admittedly did a really good job with it).

The song written by Kanye is a dud for Rihanna. A total flop. The video a gross embarrassment.

I would love to hear Rihanna's take on all of this.

Rihanna is friends with Katy Perry and has collaborated multiple times with Kanye and is Jay-Z's protege and is therefore connected to Kanye that way too. I'm about 1000% sure that Rihanna relates more to Kanye than to TS. But she has said that she's not taking sides because she doesn't get herself involved in feuds...unlike TS.

Taylor Swift is so trashy. She built a career out of exploiting her romantic dalliances by writing songs trashing her exes and giving interviews and making videos dissing them. She also created a mean girl clique to intimidate the people she did not like. She bullies her exes, she bullies are fellow pop stars and actresses. She even has beef with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

She started beef with Kanye. After the VMA incident, which actually was NOT about her to begin with, he apologized. SHE is the one who wrote a song ABOUT him and performed it LIVE on the VMA the NEXT YEAR.

She then talked endlessly about him on live and magazine interviews during the next few years. He tried to make up, called her up and asked her if he can name her in her song. She back-stabbed him and went back on stage and talked bad about him.

Kim had enough and threw her under the bus.

like a boss.

Taylor created her own mess.

I find it really ironic that the folks on here defending TS Are recalling her awkward and geeky persona when she first started in country, and defend her by that standard. TS has made a *very* successful career on skewering people in her lyrics, while playing the doe eyed victim, even since the days of "Mean". The only difference between her and Kanye is he has the parts to name names, where TS just puts in coy little clues in her liner notes.

I respect Taylor and have a lot of her music - but people need to understand that she is not the cookies and puppies persona that her very clever marketing and PR team would have everyone buy into. Some of her lyrics are quite pointed and designed to be cruel (Dear John, anyone? Better than Revenge?). But, unlike Kanye, she posts enough cheery stuff in IG and the like that people give her a pass on it for some reason.

The VMA award and that moment in time was ALL about Taylor - she earned that award and she earned that moment in the spotlight to shine. You don't get it. He would not have done that to just any singer. it was not about Beyonce or he would have sh*t his pants every time Beyonce didn't win. He just wanted to piss on Taylor's moment.

And he has done it again. The man needs to start wearing Depends.

Taylor's lyrics have never named actual people (at least that I recall). She has said that the Mean song was directed at harsh critics and unfair criticism.

I think it's fair to say that her songs are inspired by relationships and her own experiences. But if you think about it that is the case with most artists and most songs.

I don't think that she has ever tried to destroy another person through her music. She isn't like that. But she is a writer and she writes about what she knows. And right now she's going through the ups and downs of dating, romantic distress, etc. They all do that.

You're so busy getting into a tizzy defending her, rather than having a discussion, that your reading comprehension is failing. I never said she named people - I credited Kanye for having the balls to name people. TS likes to do things like put cutesy hints in her liner notes so everyone who reads pop media knows exactly who the song is about, but sure still gets to play the doe eyed victim and claim it's just speculation.

Interesting that you give a pass to someone who would write "She's not what you think/ she's an actress/ but she's better known for the things that she does on the mattress". Yep, no ill will there. And I suppose you'll defend Dear John, too?

Again, I'm a TS fan, but I have to give Kanye kudos for at least being authentically who he is and owning that.

Are you sure about that?

Some of Taylor Swift's lyrics bringing down other people:

Dear John, I see it all now that you're gone.
Don't you think I was too young
To be messed with?
The girl in the dress
Cried the whole way home, I should've known.

Well maybe it’s me
And my blind optimism to blame
Or maybe it’s you and your sick need
To give love then take it away

And you'll add my name to your long list of traitors who don't understand
And I'll look back in regret how I ignored when they said,
"Run as fast as you can."

"Dear John, I see it all now that you're gone.
Don't you think I was too young
To be messed with?

The girl in the dress
Cried the whole way home

Dear John, I see it all now it was wrong
Don’t you think nineteen’s too young
To be played by your dark, twisted games?

When I loved you so, I should've known.

You are an expert at "Sorry"
And keeping lines blurry
Never impressed by me acing your tests
All the girls that you've run dry have tired lifeless eyes
Cause you've burned them out

But I took your matches
Before fire could catch me
So don’t look now
I’m shining like fireworks
Over your sad empty town

Dear John, I see it all now that you're gone.
Don't you think I was too young
To be messed with?
The girl in the dress
Cried the whole way home

I see it all now that you're gone
Don't you think I was too young
To be messed with?
The girl in the dress
Wrote you a song, you should’ve known.

You should’ve known
Don’t you think I was too young?
You should’ve known."

About John Mayer who she very publicly dated. He also responded saying this song was very hurtful and undeserved.

This is what Taylor Swift said about her ex- Joe Jonas:
While appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in November 2008, Swift told host Ellen DeGeneres about the former Jonas Brothers member breaking up with her over the phone. "You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18."

If that wasn't enough she wrote a song about Joe and his new girlfriend Camilla Belle:

"Now go stand in the corner and think about what you did
Ha, time for a little revenge

The story starts when it was hot and it was summer
And, I had it all I had him right there where I wanted him
She came along, got him alone, and let's hear the applause
She took him faster than you could say sabotage

I never saw it coming, nor would I have suspected it
I underestimated just who I was dealing with
She had to know the pain was beating on me like a drum
She underestimated just who she was stealing from

She's not a saint and she's not what you think
She's an actress, whoa
She's better known for the things that she does
On the mattress, whoa

Soon she's gonna find
Stealing other people's toys on the playground
Won't make you many friends
She should keep in mind,
She should keep in mind
There is nothing I do better than revenge, ha

She looks at life like it's a party and she's on the list
She looks at me like I'm a trend and she's so over it
I think her ever present frown is a little troubling
And, she thinks I'm psycho
'Cause I like to rhyme her name with things, but
Sophistication isn't what you wear, or who you know
Or pushing people down to get you where you wanna go
Oh they didn't teach you that in prep school
So it's up to me
But no amount of vintage dresses gives you dignity
(Think about what you did)

She's not a saint and she's not what you think
She's an actress, whoa
She's better known for the things that she does
On the mattress, whoa
Soon she's gonna find
Stealing other people's toys on the playground
Won't make you many friends
She should keep in mind,
She should keep in mind
There is nothing I do better than revenge, ha

I'm just another thing for you to roll your eyes at honey
You might have him, but haven't you heard
I'm just another thing for you to roll your eyes at honey
You might have him, but I'll always get the last word
Whoa

She's not a saint and she's not what you think
She's an actress, whoa
She's better known for the things that she does
On the mattress, whoa
Soon she's gonna find
Stealing other people's toys on the playground
Won't make you many friends
She should keep in mind,
She should keep in mind
There is nothing I do better than revenge, ha

And do you still feel like you know what you're doing,
'Cause I don't think you do, oh
Do you still feel like you know what you're doing
I don't think you do, I don't think you do
Let's hear the applause
C'mon show me how much better you are
See you deserve some applause
'Cause you're so much better
She took him faster than you could say sabotage "

How petty, mean and vitriolic is this??

I have no idea who that actress on the mattress is supposed to be. And I think many of us have a "Dear John" in our lives.

Kanye can own that awful song that HE wrote and that video too. Those belong strictly to him and they are strictly HIS doing. Not Taylor's fault.

I'm just another thing for you to roll your eyes at honey
You might have him, but haven't you heard
I'm just another thing for you to roll your eyes at honey
You might have him, but I'll always get the last word
Whoa

She's not a saint and she's not what you think
She's an actress, whoa
She's better known for the things that she does
On the mattress, whoa
Soon she's gonna find
Stealing other people's toys on the playground
Won't make you many friends
She should keep in mind,
She should keep in mind
There is nothing I do better than revenge, ha

And do you still feel like you know what you're doing,
'Cause I don't think you do, oh
Do you still feel like you know what you're doing
I don't think you do, I don't think you do
Let's hear the applause
C'mon show me how much better you are
See you deserve some applause
'Cause you're so much better
She took him faster than you could say sabotage "

How petty, mean and vitriolic is this??

^I actually could have written that Dear John song myself. No joke.

And the song about the girl who stole another girl's boyfriend - yep, I can relate to that as well.

I have no idea who that actress on the mattress is supposed to be. And I think many of us have a "Dear John" in our lives.

Kanye can own that awful song that HE wrote and that video too. Those belong strictly to him and they are strictly HIS doing. Not Taylor's fault.

I don't think he feels bad about the song or the video. And no one is blaming Taylor for the song's existence (although I assume that that is why she back pedaled, when she realized the song wasn't exactly 'on brand' for TS). It seems that Kim feels angry that her husband tried to do something right by taylor, she seemed amenable, he did what he said he was going to do and then she lied about it to make it seem like he was bullying her.

The actress is WIDELY known to be Camilla Belle. Just like Bad Blood is WIDELY known to be about Katy Perry. Come on dude any Swift fan this obsessed knows EXACTLY who the songs are about.

You're proof that marketing works. You probably buy "sale" items off end caps and infomercials, don't you?
