I applied and was waitlisted, chose Wesleyan in CT instead. Later got in off the waitlist and have always felt wistful that I did not get to go to Davidson.

Nope, got the same # of applications as last year.

Looks like they had a little under 5700 applications. Last year was 5620. Even if they accepted the same amount it would probably cut the rate to below 20%.
