yes.
i don't know much but i know it's highly selective. |
yes
Of course.
Davidson recruits heavily in this area. It is like Earlham, Pomona and Colgate.
|
Yes, it's an excellent school, located in Davidson North Carolina. It was originally all male. When I graduated from high school in the 80s, it was still highly male.
I considered going there but opted for a huge state school. |
Yes, have heard of Davidson. It's a very good school. Very big in the south / southeast and very good liberal arts college. Would assume someone who has lived in DC for a while would have heard of it. Maybe not someone from California or Maine.
Yes I've heard of Davidson and I think of it as a good school. But I wouldn't have expected everyone to have heard of it. There are plenty of good schools that are not well known outside their region.
I've known about it forever because that was one of the colleges I was interested in applying to. But I also know about truckloads of colleges that I wasn't interested in applying to, because I basically read the giant Barron's Guide cover to cover. I'm 20 years out of college and I think it has gotten much better known in that interim.
Yes
I know of it because I'm a big NCAA basketball fan. And I had 1 HS classmate go there, but I only recognized where he went because I knew Davidson as a basketball school.
Great school!
I almost went there in the 90's. It's an excellent, highly selective school.
My friend who went there calls it the "Brown of the South." Good school, southern and preppy.
Yes, knew about it back in the 80s when I was applying to colleges from my NoVa high school.
Northern Californians are very familiar with Davidson
