Where is the outrage about the Israeli starvation of Gaza?

Now even Israeli human rights groups state that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. It seems like American Jews are the only group still insisting that this is a “war” and the starving are merely casualties. This is deeply disturbing.

This happened because modern Jews replaced their traditional rules of worship of G-d with what seemed to be more congruent with modernity at the the time—nationalism—specifically an allegiance and worship of the modern State of Israel.

What has happened to the Palestinians at the hands of the Israelis is nationalism that has turned into fascism.

They choose to look away. Sigh.

You mean propaganda photos like this?

"Honest Reporting" is practically a propaganda arm of the Netanyahu government. Their whole mission, as per their website, is to prop up Israel.

Use common sense, people.

New York Times Alert

The New York Times ran a huge photo of a mother and an infirm child and represented it as a starving child in Gaza.

Yet the picture itself is a contradiction as the mother is full faced and obviously not starving — but she didn’t have food for her child? 18th month olds eat solid food and no mother would feed only herself if there was a shortage and the quantity of food for the child would be a fraction of that for an adult.

And now many X posts have surfaced suggesting the child has a muscular disorder from birth and if that is the case this really would be deliberate Hamas propaganda.

I don’t have any direct knowledge but this has to be investigated pronto by all involved and if the these posts are true The NY Times must print as big a correction and fire those involved. Perhaps the Times will say it’s on top of the baby’s illnesses but that does not make sense as noted above and the error of omission about the baby’s illnesses would still be false and dangerously inflammatory. Let’s see what the full truth is here.

Update from Matti Friedman in the free press.

After the photographs were seen around the world it became clear that the child in fact suffers from cerebral palsy and other conditions unrelated to starvation. The suffering child ended up being less the intended symbol of Israeli evil than of how genuine misery can be put to use by practitioners of narrative war.

Are you implying that children are not starving in Gaza?

^^^^^^

Even Trump thinks there’s starvation in Gaza.

Speaking in Scotland, Trump said that the U.S. would set up food centers in Gaza as “we have to get the kids fed.” He disagreed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s assessment that there is “no starvation in Gaza.”

Trump said that he had seen images of Palestinians on TV and that “those children look very hungry.” He later added that the scenes were “real starvation” and that “you can’t fake that.”

So you’re going to pretend that there’s only one photo? You’re ignoring the mounting death toll?
Sorry to inform you, but people with disabilities are not separate from the rest of society. If a child needs special formula or intravenous nutrition to survive, they are still dying of starvation.

Wow, the amount of denial astounding and unnecessarily cruel. Even Trump contradicted Netanyahu's lie on no starvation. Did you guys missed the newest memo?

Want food? Release the hostages. Apparently Hamas isn't very hungry.

You're a broken record, just like the IDF's moral compass.
