So the hostages have been released? I don't think so. Hamas is still trying to extort favorable terms for itself, trading Plaestinian lives ofr its own survival.

Israel in talks to resettle Gaza Palestinians in South Sudan

Nobody cares where Palestinians end up, as long as they're far enough away to be unable to cause havoc in Israel or in other ME countries which want stable, peaceful societies. Sudan would be fine, as would be any one of the many authoritarian Islamist regimes which exist globally where the Palestinians should feel right at home.

South Sudan is a Christian nation with a small minority of most other religions. Palestinians are Sunni Muslim. South Sudan is plagued with droughts and a massive food shortage.

Trump and Netanyahu are just foul pieces of crap. I hope Netanyahu doesn’t consider himself a religious man because he is far from one. He can order the murder of children and their mothers and go to a party a few hours later.

South Sudan has a long horrific feud with north Sudan and arabization.

A better country to ask wouldve been Ethiopia. Lots of Syrian and Yemeni migrants moved there in recent years and seem to like it. Ethiopians also speak Semitic languages with many words in common with Arabic and Hebrew. Selam for example is how they hello.

I may be cynical when viewing Trump and Netanyahu but I do believe they chose South Sudan because they wouldn’t be able to assimilate and they wouldn’t be welcome. There are still killings based on ethnicities and religious differences even though the civil war and dividing Sudan into two separate countries should have stopped it. The Arab-Muslim majority is in the north, the Christian and Animist religions (animist is an Indigenous group) are in South Sudan.

There’s conflict in South Sudan, violence, there’s religious clashes, there’s food shortages, large numbers going hungry. So why send a large group of traumatized refugees into that? A further act of cruelty?

With Moves on West Bank and Gaza City, Israel Defies Global Outcry, Israel Defies Global Outcry

“Israel on Wednesday approved new settlements in the West Bank and announced that it was moving ahead with plans to take over Gaza City, bucking international criticism and defying growing support for the creation of an independent Palestinian state,” the New York Times reports.

“The moves raised questions about whether a new cease-fire proposal — which officials have said is similar to terms that Israel previously endorsed — could move forward.”

Experts said the two moves suggested Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was bending to the ideologies of extremists in his coalition in order to remain in power — even at the cost of isolating Israel internationally.”

“International isolation” doesn’t bother Netanyahu. The only country that matters for him is the USA, which finds the Israeli military with hundreds of billions of our tax dollars, which are currently being used to starve Palestinian children

Anyone in Gaza City who doesn’t evacuate ‘can die of hunger or surrender,’ says Smotrich

Anytime when you want to know what Israel's agenda or plans are, don't listen to Netanyahu but rather than guys like Ben Gvir and Smotrich because they don't try to hide the government's genocidal intents

The Jews in Israel are the absolute worst of humanity, if they can even be considered human. Their cruelty knows no bounds.

Not all of them but it's quite frightening to see a society that exists where over 80% of the population supports ethnic cleansing or genocide.

Antiwar Israelis held a protest outside a military recruitment center in Ramat Gan Thursday in support of two 18-year-old draft resisters who announced they would refuse to enlist in Israel’s army. Ayana Gerstmann was sentenced to 30 days in a military prison for her refusal; Yuval Peleg received a 20-day sentence.

Ayana Gerstmann: “I can’t be a part of the war in Gaza, of the misery and suffer caused to so many people.”
Yuval Peleg: “I am here to refuse the genocide, first and foremost, to refuse to participate and to be complicit in genocide.”

That’s not a long prison term for conscientious objectors. Good for them for following their conscience rather than taking part in the intentional starvation of children.

I wonder how many young people will start leaving Israel rather than serve military service during this awful war.

Practically none. It's their country. They can vote in different politicians if they want to. Their primary goal is national security, not evading military service. Most consider that their national security is best served by eliminating threats to their homeland, an entirely reasonable notion.

They are not leaving because they have tried and been barred from leaving Israel. Netanyahu has ordered airlines to ban Israeli ch citizens from flying out of the country.

Wouldn't matter anyway, no more than a few Americans hiding in Canada during the Vietnam War had any impact on anything.

Why aren’t young Americans Jews going to fight for Netanyahu?

You could be a troll but I wish all of those people like you who have Gaza on the brain 24/7 would spend some of that energy on the problems in our own country.

Why would they lift a finger to back up their talk? Our government here in the U.S. coddles them, does everything imaginable to validate their bizarre superiority complex, provides them with Jewish affirmative action when they seek admission to America’s top universities, and casts them as victims when they blatantly instigate conflicts with protesters on college campuses.

Don’t believe the people shrieking that anti-semitism is threatening to exterminate Jews. The reality is that no other group is afforded more protection and special treatment than this group.

Vile, pathological, lying, child-murdering trash. They are the most despised people on the entire planet.

No Arab country wanted the problem and the problem is not Palestinians . It’s Jewish interference. South Sudan will soon find out that Israel will not leave those 2 m Palestinians alone even in South Sudan.

Smart Israelis left as soon as Ben Gvir made it to the highest office of the land. People saw the writing on the wall with this group before 10/7.
