There is no outrage in Israel at least.
Israelis are using their children as human shields to block aid trucks to Palestinian children |
|
I am outraged at the Israeli and US governments, though it is not terribly surprising given who is in charge of them. I also think maybe the people who opposed Democrats because they didn't do enough to help Gaza should have focused their energies on actually helping Gaza. I'm not expert but don't think Harris would have gone for this BS aid situation.
By the way Reuters is reporting today that an internal USAID report found no evidence of systemic theft of food aid by Hamas. |
| I am beyond horrified at the suffering of the Palestinian people who have been dehumanized for decades. It breaks my heart and wish there was something I could do. |

I think the confusion is that never again means never again only to the "Israelis"
You have to remember that the entire world does not matter when it comes to Israelis. Billions of people could die tomorrow, but the Israelis will not be bothered if it does not align with their goals. They will walk around and take what they want. You would think that the Jewish people suffered so horribly at the hands of Nazis that they would be the first in line to ensure this never happened to anyone else again. Obviously, they learned a little too well from the Nazis. While the rest of the world was crying for the Jewish people, the zionists were busy taking notes. |
A lot, and the IDF has killed many of them. Step out of your biased bubble. And of course you will find an excuse for those murders by saying they shouldn’t have been there. |
We need to hold our politicians accountable for the war machine they are propping up with our tax dollars. |
| Israel have gone beyond what their what their enemy was, the Nazis tried to keep everything a secret. Not only do the Israelis cheer on a global stage when Palestinian children die, they make jokes about it. |
| This has been in the news every day. I think many Americans are very outraged about this issue, including my very middle of the road, casually racist and transphobic mother. But the portion of the country that has the most influence over current foreign policy is not reading any actual news, they are only reading propaganda. |
You’re a sick person. Everyone knows they can’t ’go over there’ because Israel refuses and rejects outsiders. Greta was turned back, journalists expelled, aid workers shot. You are morally deficient |
|
The type of people most likely to be concerned about what is happening are the type of people who didn't vote for Trump. They know there is little they can do until the midterms, and many are actively avoiding the news in order to be able to function. Until then, Trump has made it clear he will give Israel a bank check to do whatever they want.
People in other countries have leaders who are willing to stand up to Netanyahu. For now, America doesn't. |
And how are these mid terms going to change anything? What are these people doing to ensure that midterms turn things around? Sincerely, most people don't care beyond whining on message boards. |
| It’s horrific. We are in the wrong side of history with our science. The US walked away from talks yesterday. Totally ineffective and careless administration. |
Sure, let’s blame one random progressive for not doing anything when two powerful, rich nations willingly created this problem. You really should expect better for yourself. |
|
From now on, I will research who took money from aipac when I vote, and I will not support them. I will never again support anyone who supports Zionism. I’m from NY and I am done with Schumer, Gillibrand, (Cuomo obviously), etc.
I’ll write in Mickey Mouse before I vote for a pro Israel politician again. FYI I was previously a moderate Dem who even voted republican a few times |
Sadly I don’t know if I think Harris would have done anything differently. Maybe more words. She’s owned by AIPAC too. All moderates are. |
