I don't think "lawyer" packs the punch as a slur that you think it does. |
The last part is so sad to me, but was my son’s experience with baseball as well. It wasn’t just LL, but when a 12 year old realizes how shady everything is there are major problems. |
Certainly not as much as "liar". Nor as much as "thief". And all of it screwing kids from communities with supposed "lesser" baseball, so Ricky can get a better player or two for his house league team (prize = lame trophy + more free pizza and donuts for Ricky) or for NWLL to then lose in All Stars to Cap City or Mamie Johnson or Cap Hill, or every once in a while to get to Bristol, where the world sees for itself Ricky is just not a good coach (disaster two weeks ago as example A) Skip the games NW parents, get your kids on a good travel team. And to the NWLL Board members till hanging on to glory from when their kids played years ago, why? Why do you stay? Certainly you are not doing any great good for your community or "the kids". So, why? (Not written by a lawyer) |
Does the Northwest baseball league think any of the other baseball leagues in the city will allow them to play in the All-Star program until they clean up this problem?
Or is the Northwest baseball program still solely focused on trying to rid themselves of parents who raise their hand when they see wrongdoing? Where does all their money go, by the way? Do they have sponsors? Will parents of new 7 year olds write them a check until they clean up their act? Lot's of questions here. Whoever is in charge of DC youth sports should dig in here. Especially as these games seem to be played on city property. |
Where are the requested records?

Does anyone have any visibility to when the NWLL Board plans to address these questions? |
and why does NWLL get to leave a fence on the fields in Turtle Park? |
No, Ricky and his cronies think they have all the answers...and all the folks they have brainwashed into complicity. |
Have you ever confronted Ricky and his cronies in person, face to face? |
Suggesting a fight? How about honesty and decency rule the day, instead? Or at least, "let's get it right for the kids". Instead of let's keep trying to win at all costs and to heck with our NWLL kids and kids from other communities by cheating up one wall and down the other. And it reads like the folks who blew the whistle had been trying to get documents and answers for months - years? - from this Board, of which they are members, for quite some time. So seems like, yes, confronting them face to face. |
At at Ft. Reno. The answer is that DPR thinks of itself as the Department of Baseball. All those other sports aren't "real" sports, even though they're much more popular. |
There's a national push by Little League to have outfield fences so that field space can't be used for other sports. |
No, because he hides really well and some NWLL folks complicitly hide the rule breaking/ breakers. This needs to come from within NWLL itself or it will never change. |
Or Little League International actually steps in, forcing change to NWLL and DCLL leadership and transparency. |
Don't forget about Coach Pete. All Stars is like a GDS fatm team. |
