Fairfax Murder

They said when a couple moved down to Virginia, Christine had told folks the husband had a job with the FBI. Previously he had been with IRS enforcement. This person thought that’s why there was a heavy law-enforcement presence at the wake/funeral (out of respect for him being with FBI… That does not make sense of course). She also indicated that the family seemed to think there had been no interaction with JR before that mornings events. You almost hope for the family that is true, because they’re in complete denial, about the husband have anything to do with it. This poor family.

How did neighbors come to this conclusion?

Because we spoke with police for 10 days afterwards. So even if we may have a few details wrong, we know a hell of a lot more than you.

Haha! Police are not sharing details with random neighbors. You're too close to the situation. Its easier to blame a foreign au pair than to think there's swingers in your neighborhood.

Police give away a lot while they are questioning you. Maybe some of it is strategic, but they do it.

They also lie. They'll give false information to see how you respond.

The amount of speculation, and outlandish theories posted here is incredible. Nothing is based on facts. This family is going through an ordeal, and they deserve the sensitivity and compassion I’m sure all of us would hope for if we were in this horrific situation.

I totally agree. Yes, this isn't a court of law and people can speculate all they want but to what purpose?

Another in agreement here.

It reminds me of the posts here about the young family that died hiking in the mountains in California. People came up with the most ridiculous, illogical situations and many assumed murder suicide without a shred of anything pointing to that.

The husband didn't stab her. He was on his way to work and turned around.

Nobody knows the order of the crimes. Shots first, stabbing second, maybe.

I see, back to making up whatever details we see fit.

It's a simple fact that the order has not been publicized. Do you work for the husband's lawyer or something?

Np here. I don't have anything to do with anything in this case but the scenarios some of you are quoting as fact are ridiculous.

Too bad this is all anonymous, as there are a lot of people here who should never serve on a jury! Got to love the wannabe detectives on this thread who think they have even the slightest clue about what they are talking about. Always good for a laugh!

Oh, please. Obviously no one here has been presented with evidence to weigh. It’s all curious hypotheses. It’s human nature.

If the DH is in LE, then it wouldn't necessarily be surprising that LE would be present at the funeral. I think this is fairly common.

And also makes sense that LE were present at funeral just to see what goes down.

but then what is the JR angle?

We had APs. I am aware of how this happens. In fact, one of our APs came to us because of inappropriate communications from the first host dad. But I'm not seeing this with JR in the house.
