Wonder how much the use of porn is driving the greater mainstream interest in these practices? Remember Hoover? Kinks and fetishes have always been around in DC.

These seem like really risky games to play on an emotional level.

Curious if they were under financial stress, big house for a govt worker (IRS or FBI depending on story) and a nurse.

Don’t underestimate family money… They also had a full-time live in Au Pair.

You must not live in the DMV. Au pairs are extremely common here, even in middle to upper-middle-class families. It can be cheaper than daycare, especially with more than one kid, and has a lot more flexibility, which someone who is a nurse might need.

Good point.

In DMV, if you have the space, an AP can be the cheapest option for multiple kids, less than daycare or a nanny in many cases. These parents may also have needed flexiiblity in childcare hours re: their jobs, too.

They said JR met them online and agreed into a cuck encounter. When he went back that morning (poster said he’d already been there before) apparently the AP called the DH on his way to work to tell him JR was in the house (maybe she didn’t know who he was/why he was there). the poster thinks DH shot JR and that’s when the AP called 911 the first time. The poster thinks DH hurt his wife, not JR.

How could the person who claims to be Joe's friend know this? This information would only be available from the AP, the husband, or law enforcement.

How did neighbors come to this conclusion?

Because we spoke with police for 10 days afterwards. So even if we may have a few details wrong, we know a hell of a lot more than you.

Haha! Police are not sharing details with random neighbors. You're too close to the situation. Its easier to blame a foreign au pair than to think there's swingers in your neighborhood.

Police give away a lot while they are questioning you. Maybe some of it is strategic, but they do it.

They couldn't. I'm convinced there's at least one nut in this thread, possibly more. Lots of stuff is being made up from whole cloth.

I think you're right.

^^^^ I’m with you on that one. On the basis of an anonymous friend (yes I know we’re all anonymous) claiming to have all sorts of inside information on JR and that he was a “nice” person and suddenly many people out there dismiss him as a suspect. And on the other hand people are ready to throw the husband under the bus because he had little social media presence. Puleeze.

The husband didn't stab her. He was on his way to work and turned around.

Nobody knows the order of the crimes. Shots first, stabbing second, maybe.

I see, back to making up whatever details we see fit.

It's a simple fact that the order has not been publicized. Do you work for the husband's lawyer or something?

Do people genuinely believe that cops have only spoken with neighbors and not those in Joe's orbit as well? Do you think that people who have lost a loved one who they think may be being framed for a crime don't communicate with one another? Seems likely to me.

No one is claiming the DH is a suspect because of his social media, but because LE has said that they are still investigating who is responsible and checking out the story he told, ie, not in the clear as of yet.

On another forum, a friend of Joe’s is looking for a true crime podcast to speak with. They truly believe his innocence and have talked to law enforcement. They mentioned the online activity (joe was open about his dating life) with police, which of course would have been checked out (was Joe in touch with the banfields). Clearly, this is not a simple case as it is going on three weeks. Or rather, it’s not as simple as a DH made it out to be.

Forget social media. Not one person who knows DH has made a peep. Not even the person who spilled about the wake.

Thanks, that is interesting.

If DH is guilty then the little girl has lost both parents. I hope LE takes their time to come to the correct conclusion.

Terribly tragic all around but especially for the very young child.

What was “spilled” about the wake if you wouldn’t mind? I missed that.
Anonymous
I believe it was posted that there was a large LE presence at the wake.
