MM was an actress and a lifestyle blogger before she got married, so I'm sure that she can parley her celebrity into something like Goop, which has value of around $250 million as a company.

As far as what they've accomplished, she had a successful career as an actress and he had a successful career as a soldier and then as a philanthropist. That's very reasonable for two people in their mid 30s.

Nobody is piling on Kate Middleton. Kate is fine. (William is an ass, but that's another story.) It's not "piling on Kate" to point out that the press treats Kate pretty well and is absolutely vicious to Meghan. That's racism and hypocrisy on the part of the press. It's not Kate's fault. Prince Phillip was younger then.

Technically, yes, he was younger then but he was still pretty old and had health scares. Really - any Christmas in the past ten years could have said to been his last Christmas because of his age/failing health.

The British monarchy needs to start being more like other Eurorpean monarchies. Spain, Sweden, Norway - all those countries seem to manage with one of their younger siblings living outside their home country. Why can't Britain do it?
