They have 20 m doses to be delivered by the end of march. That's 10.5% of eligible Americans (about 250M people over 16YO and only 75% are willing to get it). This explains why there is a huge jump towards Normalcy/Herd Immunity.

Not even officially recommended yet -- this is the company saying it meets the requirements. Recommendation should come Friday from the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee meeting.

But approval can't come soon enough! I've been anxious for this one!

The good news is that Russia and China are making great strides to vaccinate the world, while the West hoards and fails at vaccinations.
The U.S. is doing way better in vaccination than the E.U. and Canada, which are failing terribly.
People are accusing the EU of politicizing the vaccine and some are getting the vaccine there if they travel.

I guess it makes sense. We have too many anti-vaxxers here, so in a huge country with billions of people, most are probably just as uneducated and resistant.

Well, China is not very open with their vaccine data so I think people there have reason to be distrustful (this from someone who is very pro-vaccine, and believe that Pfizer/Moderna/J&J are great). Nothing like FDA over there. What I'm surprised about is that China isn't just making people take it -- I mean if they can lock you into your home as part of COVID prevention measures, why not force you to take a vaccine?

Some more good news: purely anecdotal at this point, but a journalist I follow on twitter said that since getting the first dose of the vaccine, her long hauler symptoms have greatly improved.
