I applaud her for not approaching this case from the standpoint of women's rights! |
There is a huge possibility that JD loses the case because that only takes one single juror to double down and say no. The win will only come about if there is a unanimous vote for him. I wonder if we'll eventually find out how the vote went (how many jurors for/against). It really doesn't matter much what the jury returns because most of us have already made up our mind as who's the liar. |
Really, their marriage counselor and her former makeup artist were Depp grifters? Do tell. |

I've listened to most of the trial and I support AH. Seems clear he did a lot of bad stuff he doesn't remember.
I don't understand the self-confidence of someone who spent years abusing drugs and alcohol and yet seems to claim with absolute certainty that he would never do _____ [hit a woman/damage property/harm someone/etc.]. There is plenty of evidence that he did this terrible stuff -- punched out walls, completely destroyed property, scared people (especially women) he was being destructive around that he might hurt them, behave in a generally out of control way, even hit people or things accidentally - on top of testimony about more personal and damaging hitting/violence behind closed doors. He just doesn't want to believe he did this stuff, despite evidence to the contrary, because he doesn't want to be that guy. Isn't it pretty to think so? He needs help and some truth tellers around him who aren't on his payroll. |
LOL! But, you sure are happy to overlook all of his problematic behavior! Woman lied! OMG, what an abuser! JD lies all the time and passes out drunk, poor guy! |
I thought it was just a majority because it’s a civil case? Isn’t unanimous just for criminal? If it is unanimous I think he’s very very unlike to win. As evidenced by this thread, a bunch of people seeing the same trial are interpreting/believing the witnesses very differently. |

Nope, never overlooked his behavior! I just don't believe her narrative of the helpless victim of domestic and sexual violence and she should not be made a spokesperson for the the abused. This case should not be about women's rights |
| HAHA. Just saw the ACLU is demanding JD to pay them $86,253.26 for wasting their time to produce all the records and expenses on Amber's Pledge. |
|
It depends on the state. This trial requires a unanimous opinion. In my opinion, Johnny Depp is unlikely to win. Amber heard is also unlikely to win. |
This seems reasonable. They used their time and resources to find documentations intead of doing their usual job. |
| Does anyone know the court’s specific reasoning for cutting off JD’s damages at November 2, 2020? I know that’s the date of the verdict in Depp’s UK litigation, but have not found explanation of the court’s grounds for cutting off potential damages at that point (assuming it is in fact related to the UK verdict). |
They are both losers and I hope they STFU after this trial. |
This is normal. The law allows for reasonable copying and related expenses to respond to a subpoena duces tecum. This isn’t a ha ha thing. It is what it is. Do you not think she paid up the wazoo for the evidence (inc. testimony) reviewed? |
