Someone who is sexually attracted to teenagers is not a pedophile. Pedophiles are people who are attracted to children who have not yet gone through puberty and have no physical attributes of sexually mature person. A pedophile would not necessarily be attracted to a teenager who just looks like a younger adult, but not an actual child.

If you engage in acts with women who are underage, you will considered a sex offender. If found guilty you will register as a sex offender.

Very true, but “sex offender” and “pedophile” are not synonymous. I wish people would stop using the word pedophile for anyone who has sex with someone who is underage because it detracts from the horror that is true pedophilia. Sexual attraction to pre-pubertal children is very, very different from attraction to teenagers, and it is a completely different level of evil.

My theory on this is Epstein was a charmer and ran in a lot of the social circles that the ultra-rich run in. That's how Epstein became the money manager for so many rich people. Bill was probably fascinated by the guy, and genuinely curious about this playboy lifestyle. I don't think Bill was into it, nor into young girls, but it was probably more his curiosity. It was a stupid move, but also typical of someone with very high intelligence.
