My 7 years old promptly wear mask, wash hand etc.
He loves his life. He doesn’t want to die of covid or pass it on to his love ones

He won't die, and people like you are why this will never end.

You have absolutely NO WAY in hell that you can proclaim correctly that "he won't die." None.

It's people like you and your ignorant "everything's fine. I do what I want!" behavior that will ensure that this will last a hell of a lot longer than it ever needed to last.

Therapy, stat. You're convinced your 7 year old to be afraid of this?! That's child abuse, darling.

You guys realize the governor of New Mexico is planning on making masks, social distancing, and gathering restrictions permanent, right? Says it'll reduce colds and the flu, even after there's a covid vaccine. Well, you all wanted to fundamentally change America, I guess. So enjoy. This isn't going away, thank to your mental illnesses.

I did, and found nothing supporting that ridiculous claim.

I scanned through the video. I'm not going to claim I watched the whole thing, but I tried to stop when the governor was making remarks. I heard nothing about "permanent" social distancing requirements or gathering restrictions. And again, there's nothing that I've seen on that in the press. Got a timecode in the 2 hour video you linked to?

Not specifically off-hand. About 45 minutes in, she talks about how the restrictions are good for colds and the flu and therefore should be continued post-vaccine.

We will probably be like Asia, where when one feels sick and must be outside, one wears a mask voluntarily. It's not illegal not to wear a mask right now, so I seriously doubt once the pandemic is under control that there will be any appetite for mandatory mask wearing.

As the last poster said, I *very* strongly suspect you misinterpreted the statement. It's one thing to recommend masks and generally being more careful when you're sick, it's something entirely different to suggest legal requirements to practice social distancing, wear masks, and limit gathering sizes would continue.

Sure, I suspect we'll see more people wearing masks during flu season, but I highly doubt we'll see legal orders continue past the pandemic.

It's funny how you think "technically not illegal" means it doesn't drastically affect people's lives.

I’d recommend therapy for you - teletherapy has been great. You need to have a growth mindset but for you and for your children. The sky is falling Mindset will set her up for a lifetime of negative outlook. Eventually we’ll have a vaccine, herd immunity, or people will stop caring bc the death rate is lower than the flu. The kids where I live are all in camp and swimming at the pool bc kids don’t seem to transmit. The adults are all socially distanced at their tables.
Kids don’t transmit it? Stop listening to ***** and start listening to science. Yes they do. You do realize that 1 percent is still 3 million people dying from it? Do you also realize that lots of people that don’t die, can still get very sick and have long term brain damage and lung damage? It’s worse than the flu and more contagious

Kids most assuredly do transmit it. Either this person lives under a rock and hasn't followed any meaningful sources of new information since April, or they're just an idiot.

I vote for idiot.
