| OP sounds like an @ss. |
Yes. No doubt at all
|
Average becasmuse the majority of people in the US are OBESE!! |
| Way to big!!size 6 or smaller is ideal |
|
I would be extremely disappointed and probably wouldn't recognize her
Very sad thought |
Yikes. I am 5’2” and I was anorexic at 97lbs. Size 0. I got healthy and had two kids. I’m 140lbs now. I battle my mind everyday to not revert back to starving myself. Because it would be so easy to do... |
What do you guys look like? I’m sure you all have six-pack abs.
|
| 5’2 and 215 is really, really bad. Stop giving the PP crap. He’s right to be upset. This isn’t the equivalent of a dad bod or “not having six pack abs.” This is practically being as wide as you are tall. |
Six pack is one thing, but whether you’re a woman or a man, fat is unattractive and more epidemic here than in other countries. That makes it a choice here. If you’re lonely, clean up your act. |
I highly doubt it too. Unless you have pretty huge boobs and hips, a size 14 is not going to be within normal range. |
Lovely way to talk about the mother of your children.
Post your picture for comparison. |
Like it or not, I can go to any public place right now, and point to more than one mom who is a fat pig. As the PP said, there's no excuse for it. |
| Too big |
To the poster with wife who gained 100 pounds - that’s a crazy amount especially if before that age was thin. What’s going on? Depression? Health? Addiction ? Sounds really sad for all involved |
|
To echo, size 14 is very, very different on different people depending upon height, makeup (e.g., big boned or not), and age.
5'2 and 215 is significant. It could be a whole variety of things. But here's the deal, offering a vacation isn't going to make her all of sudden jump on the diet/exercise wagon. If it were that easy... There could be mental health, physical health (e.g., thyroid), or discipline issues. One thing you could do, be SUPPORTIVE. That means doing it as a family...offer to cook dinners (that are healthy), take family walks with the kids in a jogging stroller, get bikes and go no rides on the weekends, take the kids to the playground so she can go exercise, encourage her to join a gym with classes like OrangeTheory, do a dietbet together, get her an Apple watch or fitbit to track steps, don't bring home unhealthy/processed foods or encourage it, etc. At the end of the day, it's her decision and she has to be the one to commit to getting healthy. |
