My solution is a player "foul out" like basketball. (Would like this to apply to LI clubs, and certain ISL and WCAC teams today, but I digress.)

My daughter's response--"sure dad, makes sense, go ahead and call Jenny Levy."

It’s making game unwatchable. Easy … two yellows or four greens you foul out. If you lose starters you’ll stop fouling.

I do actually like the idea of 4 greens and you foul out like you do with 2 yellows.

Best of luck to all the girls trying out for teams that have not yet selected and announced their rosters!

5. Holy Child (2-5)
6. Holton Arms (2-5)
7. EHS (2-5)
8. Bullis (not in AA last year)

The top 3 look right to me. The Saints on paper are the clear favorite, followed very closely by SR. Potomac won't be as strong as last year but they will remain very competitive.

I'm curious if Holy Child can make the jump and knock off Visi this spring.

Holton Arms should be better than last year with a 2nd year coach.

That may be a tough ask. Visi has a strong-ish senior class and Holy Child is dealing with injuries on offense (2 attack out for season) and may not have the depth.

I'd do it like this:

1. Stone Ridge
2. SSSAS
3. Visitation
4. Potomac
5. Holy Child
6. Holton Arms
7. EHS
8. Bullis

They look great on paper and on field, but like several of the teams in the DMV, they have a injuries and sevetal girls recovering from ACL injuries, hip surgeries, foot surgeries. The sport can be brutal on the body.
