1. SSSAS (6-1)
2. Stone Ridge (5-2)
3. Potomac (6-1)
4. Visitation (5-2)
5. Holy Child (2-5)
6. Holton Arms (2-5)
7. EHS (2-5)
8. Bullis (not in AA last year)

Games to Watch:
- 4/9: Potomac @ SR
- 4/14: SSSAS @ Potomac
- 4/16: Visitation @ SR
- 4/28: SR @ SSSAS

The top 3 look right to me. The Saints on paper are the clear favorite, followed very closely by SR. Potomac won't be as strong as last year but they will remain very competitive.

I'm curious if Holy Child can make the jump and knock off Visi this spring.

Holton Arms should be better than last year with a 2nd year coach.

SSSAS may look right on paper but is a no.

As stated before - SSSAS will peak in mid-March. The annual toxic culture between the players/parents of the chosen few and the parents/players of those whose minutes and playing time KJ limits will catch up and they will most likely fold in post season, as has happened in recent seasons.

Agree with this. A parent meeting / PR stunt has been called to discuss the tryouts expectations. Meanwhile the players and parents already know the outcome and have for a while. It’s obvious and the new players haven’t been tight lipped about it.

Delusional parent or student is back!

All teams have preseason meetings and emails, even at the college level, to set expectations and answer questions. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. If they didn’t have a meeting, you would claim they never communicated with you and that there was no communication. Just get over yourself and leave this team and these girls alone; you should probably switch schools. These girls actually get along really well and have a tight bond, so if you have an underclassman on the team with all those D1, D2, and D3 seniors and juniors, I’m sure you feel like you’re at the bottom of the totem pole. That’s how it is in high school and college when the delusional parent and student athlete is back. Go find another program to pick on or switch schools. If you can’t handle it at SSSAS, you’re not cut out for college lacrosse at any competitive school!

It’s not delusional. It’s exactly how things go. Ask any parent from at least the past decade.

What is delusional? The players have already been selected and have made it quite known to everyone else. This is not a secret. Players and parents wouldn’t say this to others if it were made up

By the way, I accept the reality. Just stating a fact. Everyone knows this. Not sure why a parent of a current varsity player would try and deny it. What do you care?

Name 1 team (boys or girls) at this school that has ever had a pre-season meeting with parents?

There’s usually just a pre-tryout email sent out. Wonder why this year is different.

This is true pretty much everywhere: Tryouts are not for selecting the whole team, it is for determining who is at the bottom of the varsity roster or the top of the JV. Coach already knows how the juniors and seniors play.

Yes and for girls for whom deals were made separately for one reason or another - transfer, parent relationship etc.

Because the rosters got leaked and after 200 negative posts about the program they are probably struggling to get 8th grade parents on board with committing to $60k

Didn't they already "accidentally" send out the roster?

Could flip 1 & 2 but do not see Visi at 3. Far from it. They lost their best player last year along with multiple other starters. I see them at 5 behind HC and Potomac.
