And the country was OK with that. If you think that was only because of -isms, I don't know what to tell you. I think it wasn't. |
+1 million, and that's coming from a never Trumper |
Another stem science masters who voted Trump. It’s not your business which field and when, nor is it the point. |
Changing Title IX to include gender identity is not a tiny issue. Having a transwoman in a high ranking position in the dept of health is not a small issue. Policing people’s language around gender is not a small issue. Placing men convicted of sex crimes in women’s prisons is not a small issue. Reality matters. Facts matter. I’m not supporting a party that can’t deal with reality. |
The democrats should have held a primary and let the people chose their candidate, but I don't know how they could have done it fast enough. There wouldn't have been time to campaign. Biden should have been forced out of office sooner.
I also think she appears too weak on the world stage and that's not because she is a woman or POC. The border crisis hurt her. Also talking out of both sides of her mouth regarding the Israel/Hamas situation didn't help and running different ads about that based on constituency made it worse. She also made a poor choice for VP. He lies too much, is too far left and does not project competence. I think she would have had a better chance with Shapiro. I would have preferred to even see Shapiro running for president. |
The irony is that wealthy and privileged democrats are not negatively affected by far right policies. If anything, my investment portfolio will go up even more. I can afford good healthcare for myself and my family, even if I think the prices are absurd. So, I guess, good luck to those who think Trump will solve all their issues. I’m going to mentally check out. I will show up on election days to check the D boxes, but I’m done caring otherwise. |
GOP projected to win house and already has the senate. This isn’t about Kamala anymore. This is a repudiation of the left. |
No, the prior posts here just show that you all are soundbite voters. Fine. But, "DEI, Gaza, restorative justic, making schools awful for everyone" were not real issues. And that you are parroting them -as well as the "rich privileged dems while voting for a guy who is a Hollywood reality star who shi--s in a gold toilet- only proves that. This is "Look Up" in real time. |
Oh okay, and they also stayed home and not vote for Obama? Wow, I thought he was the best of the best, capable of inspiring crowds of voters to hit the polls? |
Your daughter has a bright future! |
Yes, it is. |
Biden deserves the blame. If he were decent, he would’ve stepped down a year ago when the bus truly left the station and he was full blown senile.
He really wanted to win a second term knowing he isn’t running the country or competent enough to do so. And people say Trump is the one with the blood lust for power. Trump would never mistreat Vance the way he has Kamala. Trump obviously was thinking about the future and his legacy by choosing someone as young as Vance and someone as smart/Ivy League educated like Vance. Bidens ego is so fragile that he couldn’t dare pick a VP that was smarter and more viable than he was |
Queer online communities came up with that. And immigrants overall are more conservative. Of course it wouldn't stick with them. |
It’s emblematic of something bigger…including things like an outright dismissal of legitimate concerns coupled with an elitist judgment of their lack of education. I mean, we just lost…to a really unqualified and dangerous person…and the knee jerk reaction is that more than half the country is stupid and we are smarter…really? If we were smarter, we would have won. We would have had better messaging that acknowledged all the concerns raised by voters over the last few years. |
Americans are really stupid. That fact can't be denied.
Idiocracy. |
