Here is the problem with the goalie situation at GC does anyone really know how good any of them are when they don't see any shots?

She's good. But, you're right. The GC defense is stacked. They return everyone from last season plus added a 2027 Hero's Green defender.

That's a strong unit. Saw the WCAC final. SJC's very talented middies (all Ivy League players now) and strong attackers couldn't get hands free without a perfect pass on a well-timed cut. Yes, part of that was the strength of the 3-time All-Met POY and another senior middie too, but a stingy back line to be sure.

You mean like the 1v1 shot to start the 2nd half in the championship? She was also outstanding v. Visi. She is good and as others have said, the entire defense returns.

Time to get fired up! Practices underway in WCAC and ISL; tryouts and Spring season around the corner. Schedules coming out.

What early season interleague or beyond DMV matchups look interesting? Any predictions? Anything learned from StJ games (not talking wins and losses; WCAC coaches on sidelines; or 8th graders)? Let's get some actual lacrosse talk going.

Will be curious to see how GC does this year without their star middle that graduated. They are playing Maryvale this season which will be a fun matchup. Wish they would have played them last year too.

Maryvale is good and will likely beat up on GC. GC is tops in the WCAC but DC teams don't have the depth that the Balt teams do.
