Except perhaps for the very top GA players, there doesn’t seem to be an even remotely equivalent backup plan for the spring season, other than to increase the autopay on your E-ZPass.
I know this thread is supposed to be about GA, but the situation also is concerning for aspiring GA players in Loudoun U12 and younger who won’t have fields for the spring. There is a wide range of player / parent commitment level on those younger United teams, and I suspect many less committed parents will pull their kids out if asked to travel to TSJ. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of those teams fall apart quickly.
