Thoughts on MC Elite?

Anyone know what's going on with the rosters for HS teams? Looking at 24, 25, and 26, there appear to be only one roster for each year. What happened to Carolina for these teams? Looks like they just combined the teams.

Looks like 23 field players for 26 midnight and no goalie(??). Seems like remaining Carolina players combined onto midnight for this class year.

Wayback machine shows that initially Carolina and Midnight each had 18 players for a total of 36 between the two.

Now the teams appear to be combined with a total of 23...so they lost 13 players including their goalie. Very odd.

What about the 25's? No Carolina roster, but it appears that Midnight has not changed.

It absolutely has changed and I hear there is at least one more to come.

It’s not like she didn’t know that team had a spring league when she took the role.

We had a coach at MC years ago that would not show up because her own kid was playing and she needed to attend that game. Ridiculous.

Wasn't MC supposedly a non-profit? I thought you non-profits could only be unwound and/or transferred to another 501(c)(3) org. I am confused by the St. James deal -- unless MC really was not a non-profit but claimed to be so.

I am looking at the website and I see Carolina for both 25 and 26. I am not sure about rising seniors (24). My hunch - based on no info - is maybe fewer rising seniors are playing club if they have made the decision not to pursue the lacrosse.

OMG they went in and completely changed the rosters!! What the heck? Rosters used to link to IWLCA, but now they just have a list of players, but it is inconsistent with what is on IWLCA which only shows one 2026 team of 23 players. https://iwlca.sportsrecruits.com/organization/mcelitelacrosse Many of the players listed on the website are no longer shown on the IWLCA listing. Seems shady.

I see, those are old rosters posted. Can anyone point to any good rosters for DC area 2026 teams at this point? Can’t find capital on line either. And Pride has posted rosters but not 100% sure what is going on with nova v

If you have a daughter who hasn’t landed on capital or one of the Baltimore teams by now, it seems she is out of luck even if playing HS varsity as a freshmen? Trying to figure out if anyone has room and it doesn’t look good.
