Thoughts on MC Elite?

Pride and most of the other rosters are incomplete or old. No one updates their rosters anymore. The people on those teams know who their teammates are. They don’t care if the public knows.

The Pride HS rosters are accurate

If you have a daughter who hasn’t landed on capital or one of the Baltimore teams by now, it seems she is out of luck even if playing HS varsity as a freshmen? Trying to figure out if anyone has room and it doesn’t look good.

HoCo could be an option. Hero's White 26's could definitely use help. They don't have open tryouts at this age, but guarantee they will look at girls. Email them about getting a look.

These rosters that are in IWLCA are not for the teammates or for the public to use its a player database for college coaches so yeah it should be accurate.

The rosters on the clubs' website and the IWLCA were the same until last week when the issue was raised and now all of a sudden they are no longer linked and different which is odd. They also now have both a midnight and Carolina for those teams in question last week on their website but not on IWLCA Which one is correct?

I would assume neither is correct. That being said the website seems to have been recently updated versus IWLCA so I would guess that is more accurate than IWLCA which would be updated by the club.

The rosters currently on the website are the old rosters that were posted on IWLCA last fall. The IWLCA rosters were then updated this year to combine the two teams (Carolina and Midnight) and eliminate many players. Suddenly the eliminated players reappeared on the website. Shady.

Yes.

Carolina on MC Elite website (linking IWLCA roster) as of Oct. 2022 https://web.archive.org/web/20221006165135/https://www.mcelitelacrosse.com/?page_id=32280
Midnight on MC Elite website (linking IWLCA roster) as of Dec. 2022 https://web.archive.org/web/20221207140017/https://www.mcelitelacrosse.com/?page_id=32286

IWLCA today https://iwlca.sportsrecruits.com/organization/mcelitelacrosse/2026

Why were players eliminated from the IWLCA rosters? That is the question.

Did the same thing happen with the 25's? There was no Carolina roster/IWLCA link a week ago and now there is.

I don't see a 25 Carolina in IWLCA just Midnight and it's not the same roster that is on the website currently it's the one that was there last week when the Carolina teams disappeared from the site.

So are a lot of players leaving the club and they are consolidating teams?

You are confusing IWLCA Recruiting rosters and club rosters. The IWLCA rosters were linking to players who had recruiting profiles. I just checked my DD's 2025 Carolina roster online and it is accurate, so is her sisters roster.

Most clubs provide the subscription for IWCLA once HS hits. Are you saying MC players have to pay for their own? Most clubs IWCLA team lists (you can search by club and team) are their rosters (eg identical to any other listings). If MC is different than this for HS that would be highly unusual.
