Glorious video of unmasked Youngkin being yelled at by constituent in grocery store

There are those that live in fear, oppressed by others’ rules and those that don’t. Those the fear hate those that don’t and will do everything in their power to bring those that aren’t fearful down to their level.

Meanwhile, all the states are starting to lift their mask mandates. It’s time to get over your fear.

Youngkin. Nutter on this thread. It's loud and clear.

It’s also loud and clear to me that you guys are heavily invested in believing this absurdity, no matter how patently false the assumption is across the many types of people who reject your evangelically moralistic view. It’s fundamental to your own feelings of needing to be seen as superior to others. Lots of weird psychology on display here. And I guarantee it’s not just limited to the way you view Covid.

Preach. The holier-than-thou sanctimony is really quite something. I guess I should be shocked, but these are the usual DCUM mean-girl cabal, so I'm not all that surprised. It's clear they have trouble playing well with others.

Yes, meanwhile anti-mask crybabies have been crying for the past two years about “fresh air” and permanently damaged children who will not develop properly because they are wearing a mask at school.

Parents screaming at school boards at teachers and even mask wearing kids. Right, you’ve all been so sane through this.

Will the children ever recover from this oppression?

Masks as a form of social control were all pretty rational fears. And let’s not forget the geo tracking microchips in the vax. Yup, a lot of sanity on the anti mask side.

All I’ve said is that I think you’re selfish jerks. I’m not overly dramatic, just straight forward and honest. That is what I and others think of you when we see you.

Soon, numbers will allow us all to take off our masks but until then when I see you I know exactly who and what you are.

Right back at you, psycho drama llama. YOU are the selfish jerk.

Not if I was already over there for other errands/reasons. I didn’t make a special trip just to go to the second Aldi. I was already over there on Duke and thought hey, why not run in and see if they have more of the gatorades.

Posters need to let this go. I’m not sure why so many are micro focused on my shopping habits and obsessed with trying to prove something other than I just wanted to save money if I needed to buy $100 worth of gatorades for 3 high school sports teams. My entire point was that many grocery stores in Alexandria do not require masks. Geesh.

You’re the one posting a defense of your actions to an anonymous message board at 5am. Geesh is right lol.

Nah, I wear a mask when inside a public space and when I’m at a gas station I fill the car up then I move the car to a parking spot before going inside so that the gas pump is available for other people. I try and be courteous to others.

I don’t know that this is the victory you think it is. If passed this won’t go into effect until July so schools will be able to require masking through the end of this school year if they so choose. Most people have expected mask mandates to be gone for next year anyway, so this is a pretty empty “win.”

And if we are still meaningfully dealing with covid next school year, the trade off under this bill for banning mask mandates is that schools can go fully virtual for up to two weeks if there is a surge. Hope your kids like virtual learning!

If you are looking for a particular product and not a bargain, then there is nothing to negate. Personal choice and all that.

Because some people HAVE to control others for their own satisfaction.

And then it will instantly lose a lot of that Dem support it needs to pass. Youngkin would have to be a total moron to risk another failure like that. This bill lets him save face on his botched EO. If he starts another battle and loses, he will quickly cement himself as an utterly ineffective governor. Not a good look for his future political ambitions.

I’m not living in fear. I work in the public everyday and have throughout the whole pandemic. I follow the recommendations and somehow I’ve yet to catch Covid. My family has also been Covid free as well as nearly all of my colleagues and friends. All by simply following some pretty simple guidelines like wearing a mask in public.

But if wearing a mask makes you look scared that is a pretty rational reason to not wear one.

And yes, mandates are lifting, in some places based on real data and set metrics but unfortunately for Virginia such metrics are not being used or at least communicated.

I’m vaxed and pretty certain that if I catch it now it will be quite mild but why do I want the hassle of catching it now and since I my family and myself have made it this far without catching it I’d kinda like to see that through.

But I can pull the receipts in this thread of all you non-mask wearing folks who have had Covid as well as family members. Funny how that works.

Who knew that all this time all we needed to do to end Covid was to lift mandates.

I know no one cares, that is why Aldi charges a quarter just to get their carts returned because no one cares otherwise. You are not disputing my points.

+100 us too. We're fully vaxxed and boosted, and wear N95/KN95 masks whenever we are near others, and it has kept all of us COVID-free.

Thank you. Our family is the same. I’m so happy to live in DC where people are not freaking out over the simple act of wearing a mask.
