Why don't you ask the public health experts what the difference is if you are so concerned about whether people are or are not wearing masks in a given social situation. Why is it OK that people laughing and talking at a table in a restaurant are fine not wearing masks but people walking around a store with their mouth closed are poisonous. |
Except that in this case, putting on a mask costs you exactly nothing. You put it on for the 10 minutes you are inside the store, where it will make everyone else more comfortable to see you masked, then you get to leave and take off your mask. If you're a normal, decent person that is. If you're the sort of person who'd call this "crabs in a bucket," then I guess you'd see the stakes differently. |
I'd be willing to bet there's a rather large sign on the door requiring the use of a mask.
"We're all making choices" oh shut up. Your kid goes to Georgetown Prep, which has both a vaccine (with booster) mandate and a mask mandate. |
I’m not a teenager, so I don’t spend much time worrying whether I’m popular with random people around me. You should give growing up a try. |
You’re absolutely right that I see the stakes differently! And “a normal, decent person” according to you. I genuinely don’t care how you personally view and classify people according to the made-up rules in your mind. That’s just like, your opinion, man! ![]() |
No, that’s just a rule you made up in your head. |
Good for her.
Did Youngkin’s security touch her? There was no need. |
Not true. I was there. No one at the round table meeting, or any of the people in the party that was there for the Governor were masked. There’s also no signs on the doors requiring masks of shoppers. I was there. You weren’t. |
There’s not. So let’s make that bet. Shall we? |
This is exactly Youngkin’s plan. Pit us against each other while he laughs all the way to the bank. |
This makes me like him more. About freaking time leaders start leading and paving the way for this theater s*** to be done. Has nothing to do with germs, people are just sheep. |
I’d never accuse a liberal mask fetishizer of being polite. They’re ready to get in your face at the first opportunity when you aren’t wearing a mask. Which is sorta funny, because they get IN your face. Without fear of your not wearing a mask. Sort of ironic. And revealing. |
This. Every word of it. |
You have a pretty twisted view of leadership (and epidemiology). |
Love it and love that he did it. That woman is a poster child for Covid crazy. Most people don’t agree with her. I’m triple vaxxed and got omicron. I just finished my 10 day cdc masking time and unless required I will never wear a mask again. I did my part and so did my kids and we all got it despite masks and vaccines. Moving on without guilt or remorse. Done and done. Masks have to go. |
