With the matching pink mask. She was an hour late which delayed the kids being released but that delay was important, because she had to look good for cameras.

You can’t be serious, right?

PP is correct matching pink mask with pink coat with leopard color.

OK. Matching pink coat, alright. Are you expecting her to be barefaced as the others there?

Exactly.

Incresible. Have you heard of Omnicron?

Where can you buy pink masks? Is it N95?

Amazon. And many other places. I have plenty.

I bet you do not have a matching pink coat to go with them.

What was she reading?

Her statement. It should be obvious.

It may take a while to have it typed up. So the reason for the purported delay is not what some popsters have been implying.

Nothing that can't happen anywhere . Why would you assume it is a school system issue? That is ridiculous.
It's a gun issue. It's mental health issue. It's an sociological issue.

Are the police saying they really thought the shooter had fled the building? I don’t understand why they didn’t lockdown the other schools in the area. Either they knew he was in class (scary) or they thought he left (also scary). If he had left, the community and surrounding schools should have been informed.

They caught him. Read before opening your mouth.

My 8th grader applied to the Aviation program there. Ugh.

Well, ok, choose another school then because certainly there won't be any school shootings anywhere else, right?

Why don't people understand the problem of guns in this country?

You think this pertains to this school? Why?

I feel bad for all these kids who have had to live through this pandemic and now have this trauma on top of it. I hope that MCPS is able to at least provide counseling, if it’s capable of doing anything but I’m not holding out hope.

I’m just absolutely done with the this school system.

Exactly what is it about the school system that you think caused this incident?

Unbelievable.

I wish I was. She was an hour late for the press conference photo op and purposefully delayed the release of the kids but she definitely had time to make sure that that her pink mask matched her pink coat with the animal print collar. It provides a small window into what her priorities are and it’s clearly not the kids.

What a ridicolous statement. She thought that was elegant. You might disagree. That does not tell anything about her priorities.

You don't choose "elegant " for a school shooting. You choose "somber"

2 hours later. You read before opening your mouth.

Right. We are all under massive hallucination to bear a huge mortgage to avoid sending our kids to certain schools.

I read the entire thread. I’m talking about the 2 hours between the shooting and the arrest when parents and the public were led to believe that the situation was resolved. You know, the two hours of lies everyone is talking about?!

Its a pale pink, not a flashy fuchsia.

Or, you do not choose. You just grab whatever is next to you because the kids are waiting. Maybe her pink outfit is all she could grab. Prove to me that wasn’t what she did.

And how do we know she doesn’t always match her mask and coat?

My boss is very stylish and always matched her mask to her outfit.
