Just you wait til November. Women will not forget.

Women have sons, brothers, and fathers, too. No woman wants her male family member destroyed over stuff like this.

Exactly. -A Woman

Exactly. Boys shouldn't have to pay a pric for a little drunken fondling and lying under oath.

Manchin’s DC line is busy.

I’m betting Murkowski-R is a no.

- NYT Editorial. Biased source you might say, but in this instance, I completely agree with them.

One thousand percent.

He came in basically saying, "I deserve this appointment and waa waa you're trying to take it away from me." Petulant and entitled.

My sense, too. He really has an arrogant, entitled air about him. “I got into YLS!”

He has been wrongly accused of horrible acts. He is not going to be calm and dignified. He’s mad as hell at this crap. And, yes, I would be very contemptuous of the Senators who managed to turn this hearing into a fiasco. I do not blame him one little bit.
And, the NY Times? Full of crap.

I’m sorry but I don’t think he is innocent. I find his assertion comical.

So you’re willing to ruin a man’s career and reputation over an allegation? An allegation that is uncorroborated and mostly refuted?

I think there is evidence. Medical notes. Judge’s book.

Putting together that Judge says in his book that his group of buddies got together several times a week during the summer to drink, with Kavanaugh's note on his calendar about "skis" with Judge, PJ, etc, etc, and that Ford named those guys as being there really adds to her credibility.

Plus the fact that Judge worked at the Safeway and she remembers seeing him there after the attack.

This means they have the votes to confirm.

Game over.

They don't have the votes. But the sooner they vote on him, the sooner they can move on to the next one. Waiting won't improve things for Kavanaugh.

How do you know they don’t have the votes?

I'd like to know the answer to that question too. I don't like the man, and I detest Trump, but I'd vote for him if nothing changes between now and tomorrow. I don't see how they won't make it.

It’s a 100% certainty they have the votes and he will be confirmed tomorrow.

You clearly know nothing about how this process works. Trolls are dumb.

But this is not over. It’s not 1991 anymore.

Source? I heard the opposite.

I hope you are right. My Twitter feed, Elaine plott a writer for the Atlantic says her sources could her that. Charlie Sykes replied if that’s correct he’s in.

I truely believe Dr. Ford believes she was assaulted by K after watching her testimony. And I also believe K didnt do it. Dr. Ford's story lacks time and location which makes the story hard to believe by me.

That’s my belief as well. And, that he lied about never having blacked out. Or he might not know he ever blacked out unless someone brought up what happened.

Why do you believe Leland Keyser is refusing to confirm this ever took place? Ford volunteered her as her witness, after all.

She said she didn't remember the party. NOT THE SAME!

She also said she does not know Kavanaugh. A bigger statement, IMO.

Why? Her description of events doesn't hinge on whether Leland knew Kavanaugh. She wouldn't have to know Kavanaugh to be at that gathering...at HS party, kids tend to only talk to the people they know. Unless Ford introduced them to each other that night they'd never know the other's name. Maybe she was off in some other part of the house with others. Why is Ford expected to remember every single person at the party?

Didn't someone say he is being blackmailed because he is homosexual?

It's 2018. He needs to girl up.

K was not asked about the date on his calendar.

I looked at my beloved son today, and thought, if you ever so much as disrespect a woman -- let along sexually assault her -- you're toast. So no, most women aren't just sitting around holding up the patriarchy.

I feel the same. I also don't want them accused falsely, and we've cautioned our kids and grandkids about drinking and being in situations that are likely not safe.
