U.S contingent should be fine. Israeli contingent, I don’t know… they will be safe I guess but they will be booed and shamed…. going by what happened at Eurovision.

Hopefully the Olympics does the right thing and immediately disqualifies any athlete who does not 100% support Israel.

Most people actually don't think about Israel. We are not actively seeking its destruction. It is in the same category as France, Thailand, Kenya, whatever...a country that exists and that is fine with me.

+1

The shortest post in nearly 3,000 pages that manages to blow the doors off the “everything is anti-semitism” logic. This is how nearly all people opposed to Israel’s genocide of Palestinians feel about Israel’s “right” to exist.

No you are twisting my words. Your claims of genocide are part of a public trial to declare Israel illegitimate and evil the world can swoop in and destroy it.

Calling them "bigoted" is kind, IMO.
I can think of many other words for these idiots.

Shame is a word of judgment. So I guess you are happy at the possibility of them being heckled.

My emotions don’t matter, I simply responded based on the facts that unfolded at Eurovision. You can make your own conclusions.

The conclusion is that you used a word reflecting your own judgment (shame) so your emotions are clear. As for me, I think political heckling is NEVER warranted because it is rude and never changes minds. Let us all just start heckling for every cause--soon we will just all be shouting at the same time.

Sensitive to “rude” political heckling but cool with genocide, as long as Jews are doing the immoral killing. Cannot accept the fact that the fate of America isn't (and never will be) tied to the fate of Israel, or that America’s decision to blindly, unconditionally support Israel is discretionary and subject to reevaluation.

No. And the point of my post is that yelling and screaming isn't going to convince me you are right. I just think protestors and disruptors and you all who say the same stuff day day after day on the internet about the issue think you are effective and clever but you are not. Think about it, are children's temper tantrums influential.

All of that is just how you feel, a Jewish immigrant to the U.S. from the former Soviet bloc who pretends that your daily investment in defending genocide here has nothing to do with personal interests. But you write here, day after day yourself, as if your biased opinions will rule the day.

Do you realize that your opinions are yours alone? And that the opinions of those who oppose yours are shared by effectively the entire world beyond Israel and the U.S. (due to our corrupt relationship with Israel, which will hopefully change over time)?

Have you ever read a world history book? Do you understand that where things stand today is no guarantee of where they’ll stand in one year, five years, 10 years, 25 years, 50 years, etc.? You don’t seem to get that.

I am not Jewish. You think I am because you think all non Jews secretly or overtly hate Jews. So, my opinion is not limited to Jews. You think one day the world is going to rise up and finally take care of the Jews because it can't tolerate them anymore. This is why the pro-Palestinians overestimate their support--they really think they are battling Satan and that the world agrees Jews are Satan.

It’s a daily misunderstanding for you. Reading comprehension is SO difficult.

1. Don’t hate all Jews.
2. Don’t even “hate” the Jews I don’t care for and find despicable, which is limited to Israel’s political leadership, violent settlers in the West Bank, and Zionists here in the U.S. who fervently behave as if their fairytales entitle them as chosen people to defend unlawful, inhumane Israeli policies and actions.

3. Israelis who recognize that the above groups are an essential part of the problem, and who acknowledge the sins of Israel over the years? Love ‘em.
4. Non-Israeli Jews that do the same? Love ‘em. LOVE ‘EM!

5. Not supportive of the violent overthrow of Israel that you seem obsessed with accusing others of.
6. Supportive of any solution that allows the people in the region to live in peace. In its history, the State of Israel has yet to demonstrate a genuine willingness to live in peace without subjugating its neighbors (Exhibit A: the policies of Zionism laid bare by Netanyahu, Smotrich, and Ben Gvir), which is why serious reform in Israel is what’s required to establish durable peace.
7. Yes, other states in the ME region also need to reform along with Israel - drastically in some cases.

8. Never thought, said, insinuated, sent mental telepathy 03 smoke signals, or otherwise suggested that Jews are Satan - directly or by way of the gentile pretext /subtext Underground Railroad that you accuse others of using to cloak their REAL feelings.
9. Do I think that the individuals in #2 above are some of the worst human beings walking the earth? Absolutely.
10. Does any of the above make someone anti-semitic? Absolutely not.

His wife literally funded the criminals that descended on UCLA and committed mayhem crimes on students, faculty, and other protesters. He got what he deserved - once he was aware of his wife’s role in extrajudicially assaulting protesters, he should have recognized how radioactive he had become.

Or … they think Jerry Seinfeld is aligned with people (i.e., his wife) who endorse violence to suppress the speech of others protesting the War in Gaza? Maybe that’s it, Avila Klompas?

Whatever. You protest way to much when your original words were clear enough. Israel is a country just like any other. It is legitimate by the fact that it exist. No other reasons matter actually. It exists now. I for one don't care about and have not studied religious reasons. If anyone wants this to change, it is only due to personal preference. Preference is fine but not divine. Only way the country will go away is if someone takes it by war. So go for it. And yes, your surprise that a non Jewish person can think this is anti-semitic, because you are are of the understanding that all non Jews just know that Jews are evil so a non Jew.would NEVER say a non negative thing about Israel.

Okay, then certainly you support Israel’s current military operation, right?

Because if a terrorist organization managed to take over Germany and Invaded France (sound familiar?), I strongly doubt you would support the German Terrorist group. Or a well known dictator in Russia decided that half of Ukraine was actually “Stolen” from Russia despite the vast majority of the global community recognizing Ukraine as an independent nation that holds jurisdiction over the disputed area.

This is why most reasonable people consider this unfounded criticism of Israel to be so deeply anti-Semitic. Because Israel’s actions are well within the standard rights held by every nation on earth. Defending themselves against an aggressive, violent, extremist cult that has established a brutal dictatorship in their neighboring nation, a recognized terrorist organization that’s sole intention is the destruction of Israel, is perfectly fine when other Countries do it. Nobody argues that Ukraine does not have the right to protect themselves, just Israel. And there is one key difference between the actions of Israel and other defensive actions.

It’s not that Israel is being any more brutal, or that the ration of enemy civilians to combatants killed is any different. It’s that Israel is a proudly Jewish nation, the only Jewish nation in the world, while Ukraine is a Christian nation. People have always hated the idea that Jews could have leadership roles, or have a nation to call their own. The fact that Israel, despite having to fight tooth and nail for everything they have gotten, has became a bright light of western civilization in the Middle East, and one of the region’s superpowers, makes most of the world deeply angry, because to most of the world Jewish people are not supposed to have their own homeland, they are supposed to be poor, compliant wanderers to be taken advantage of by the “more civilized” aryans, Christian’s, and Muslim peoples, and to be thrown in death camps if they don’t behave. So the idea of not just an independent Jewish nation, but a strong, vibrant, and internationally recognized Jewish nation just grinds on the gears of these anti-semites. Especially an strong Jewish nation that cannot just be over run by these anti-semites’ radical Islamic pawns.

They are fine with Israel existing and you want Israel destroyed. If Israel wasn't at war and remained structurally as is you would see that as evil. This is what the protests are about--the country's existence.

You misunderstood my post I think are in agreement. I guess I didn't word it well, sorry. My point was that I do not consider the existence of Israel, and where it is, wrong or evil. People should just let it be.
