Just wait. Biden will send troops so the Israelis do not have to fight.

He definitely will not do this (also, Israelis have called up thousands of reservists already, which is partly why the war has tanked their economy)

There has never been peace on Earth and never will be.

Of course there can be. Unfortunately the choice is in the hands of a few.

There absolutely 100% cannot ever be peace on earth. Are you delusional?

No, not yet.

This is nothing like Vietnam.

x infinity. It is nothing like Vietnam and the situation is nothing like Kent State.

DP. If you talk to *some* older people, they have been watching videos online of current protests and they'll start telling stories of 'those days' protests comparing to what they are seeing now.

my jewish-raised dad (who now hates all religion and is no israel apologist) was a college student vietnam war protestor who is generally super supportive of all peaceful protesting, and he is appalled by these current protests and says it’s nothing like the vietnam protests.

Agree. This is simply a sad reality of being human.

Not wanting innocent Gazans to be slaughtered is not pro-Hamas

That area of the world is such a sh!t sandwich. I had a theory in high school that we could fix it by airdropping pot into the region. I still think it's worth a shot.

This is more like Occupy Wall Street.

A bunch of entitled college-age students "occupying" areas and impinging on the rights of others.

Only difference is that these protests are antisemitic and threatening to Jewish people and others.

True. However, the anti Israel chants are pro-Hamas. If these people don’t want t Gaza’s slaughtered they should not be calling for the annihilation of the only Jewish country. They should not be harassing Jews. They should not be calling for genocide of Zionists or Jews. They should not be parroting Iranian and Hamas propaganda. You know publicly who supports these demonstrations? Iran, Hamas, Islamic Jihad. And I can tell you they aren’t supporting the demonstrations because the demonstrators don’t want the harm coming to innocent civilians. They support these demonstrations because the demonstrators are calling for the destruction of Israel and genocide of the Jews. They are telling Jews to go back to Poland. They are forming human chains to prevent the movement of zionists (really Jews).

Of course their can be. But unfortunately the choice is in the hands of the billions, and it only takes one vote to break peace.

Stop throwing Molotov cocktails in this thread.

The kids are not racist. In fact, they are much more intersectional than their parents and YOU who seem to be firmly in the grandparents age group. You are too old now to change so go ahead and keep spouting your nonsense. You do not sound cogent.

They are even starting to call up the Ultraorthodox ultrazionists who everyone else has been fighting and dying for .

That's rather vague. Which part is appalling? The Israelis tear gassing students in America?
The cops raiding people sitting on the lawn?
Cops beating up professors?

What's your explanation for why single women protested Vietnam War? They weren't drafted, not were their husbands or parents.
Anonymous
There are likely students who don't understand that some of the things they are saying are anti-semitic. That said, supporting Hamas or genocide of Jews in general IS unacceptable.

If this is an example of being "intersectional," no thanks.
