Totally reasonable to have a plan, a backup plan, and a backup plan for your backup plan.
There will be a lot of movement among the DC area 2030s and almost every summer something unexpected happens where one or more teams implode, there is a last minute and very surprising coaching change, or a new team comes on the scene claiming they will be much better than all the other teams (they usually aren’t). This summer will be no different and we will likely see several if not all of these things at play. |

| What is the point of Capital if the majority of kids come from BLC. It is no longer pulling the best kids around. Capital used to pull the best kids around regardless of club team. Now with priority given to BLC what is the point. Why not just call it BLC. You are going to have a bunch of kid tryout for the 8th grade BLC program next year. That is going to push kids who have been in the program down to Orange or out of the program. |

| This year the 2030 Cap team will just basically be BLC 2030. Cap this year is not seeking the best talent from local teams...a move they will ultimately regret. BLC 2030 could never compete against the Baltimore teams, never made the finals of any major tournament and couldn't even crack the NGLL top 5 A division. |

Not a BLC or Cap parent but this seems like just an angry parent. BLC is a very good team and based talent should have most spots on Cap Blue. There are several local girls already on MD teams who aren’t moving and the other local teams are nowhere near as good as BLC. Seems pretty obvious. |

| Capital is not going to take someone from BLC when there is a better player from somewhere else. GJ is an assassin with no emotions about who makes the team. The crazy thing is about three weeks after tryouts, she’ll send a personalized note to the parents of those that didn’t made it saying it was tough but she still wants to help their daughter play in college. Just come on down to Healthy Baller! Every year this happens! |

Cracking the top 10 is a huge accomplishment. Staying in the top 10, an even bigger accomplishment. Those girls should be super proud! That speaks for itself. Sounds like you’re a disgruntled parent of a player whose team couldn’t crack the top 40. |

Sounds to me like they are just voicing their opinion. There are a couple other teams in the top 30 or so. And players shouldn't be evaluated on just the strength of their teammates. Or how many Healthy Baller sessions they sign up for, but of course that isn't really tracked. |
