Strategy after Capital Tryouts - 2030?

Is there a double secret handshake to let you know you are not a bubble player?

Capital is not for the recreational player capital is for those with aspirations for D1 recruitment/D3/D2.

Many D1 teams are also at schools with inferior academic reputations.

If we look at coaching and field space for the local teams as non capital options..

Stars 2030 won't have KJ, they get a new coach each year, so that's a pointless team to be on with a new coach each year trying to reinvent the wheel. Field space readily available at the st James, which is a plus

YJVDMV I think used to be a stronger but their recent coaches seem to have only made girls the team flee? there are several who I heard left the team because of the coaching, several girls went to blc blue, I think one to heros, a few to m&d DC. No good set field space, they are on the bad grass field at SR with no lights while other teams get priority to the turf.

M&d DC has had the same coach for years, good continuity, I think people generally seem to like her. It doesn't seem like girls leave that team. It seems like a very full roster though, not sure how playing time works out. Field space is set at WES which is nice.

Agree that having the bubble girls go to the same place will keep the talent together and is a good strategy. Not sure how one coordinates that though?

Many of which are also in cold/snowy places. . . Lacrosse is a tool to achieve a goal. If a kid on Cap Orange chooses Middlebury over some lower tier D1 with mediocre academics, that is a win for her.

Exactly my point.

Isn't M&D DC in their second year?

Ok, good overview. Sounds like when we get dumped by Capital we are headed to M&D DC. Did they post try out dates?

Yes, this happened when they extended 30 invites for CAP earlier this fall.

They have been around multiple years. Only recently rebranded as M&D DC, previously they were named Next Level.

M&d DC have been around for many many years, just rebranded but the coach has stayed consistent.

We try for m&d DC if we don't make capital. Maybe if the roster is big enough, they will split into an A and B division to counteract the large roster size?

YJdmv is a gigantic dumpster fire and stars only has indoor space going for them and nothing else, both those teams are non negotiables.
