You’re wild. D1 commit. Was one of the ones doing the playing. Why are you dying on this hill? |
Have two playing. It's 50/50 and that is what college coaches expect it to be. |
| My daughter played on M&D Black and it was not even playing time. She was not one of the stars on the team. Her playing time, and her recruiting result, suffered because of it. |
WTF are you talking about? What does D1 commit have to do with anything? First, it wasn't you. Also, what does that have to do with another team's playing time? They asked you how you know another team's playing time. Please describe it. In detail. Or shut up. |
| What team is the favorite to be the local place for those that didn’t make Capital? |
| Did any player from Pride make it on Capital? I haven’t heard of any. Definitely some Blc, stars and YJ. So does Pride stay at Pride? |
What age group? And this was in showcase tournaments? |
| Task person here again. What’s the fallout like? Looks like DMV and MDDC are toast. So what’s left? Need intel on Pride, Stars and YJ VA |
Pride has had one solid HS class, 2023, in its history and that group made a conscious decision to stay together with several being PoY in the DMV. They were a highly ranked team playing one of the hardest schedules in the country. Pride hasn’t come close to this level again since the 2023s openly shared feedback on Pride’s recruiting services and help, which was zero. Those players did the work themselves and landed at some top D1 programs like Army, Richmond and USF. Others committed to ASU, Lehigh and Middlebury, which is the D3 national champ. Pride didn’t care about recruiting then and doesn’t seem to now. |
| To get recruited, it’s as much about club reputation and connections. This is why Capital has been so successful. They’ve built the infrastructure already and it’s hard to replicate that. Talent is only one component which explains why girls that play for Capital that are slightly above average end up at surprisingly decent schools. |
100% |
If I did not make capital, I would go to Stars or Cavlax. |
Yes - prior poster said six players. That’s a few |
There are enough strong players from YJ DMV and MDDC left that they could get together and form a pretty strong team, almost doesn't matter which club they join but they need to get organized soon before more July tryouts happen. Capital didn't necessarily pick the top players, it was pretty political. |
Bro no one cares about Pride 2023s. Time to let go |
