Battlefield - competitive - beat West Potomac by 5, lost to Cosby by 7
Deep Run - somewhat competitive - Lost to Cosby by 4 and 2 goals
Freedom/Gainesville - Freedom is somewhat competitive - lost to Battlefield by 3 and 6 goals. Gainesville lost to Battlefield by 9 goals

Final 8 Ranking:

1. Langley
2. Robinson
3. Cosby
4. Battlefield
5. West Potomac
6. Yorktown
7. Deep Run
8. Freedom/Gainesville

this will be the most competitive and interesting state tournament in a long time. It doesn't feel right for Madison to be out, but their absence creates the feeling that anyone could win. aside from Yorktown and Freedom/Gainesville, any of these teams could beat each other on any given day.

Yorktown has already proved they can win some level of big games after beating Langley in the district championship… I feel as if that puts
Them in the caliber of team that could pull out a win on any given day

Was that the Indy slasher near the end with the late hit or do I even need to ask?

NFHS stream had it 9-8, BW got 2 in 30 seconds with a minute left.

Not sure why I asked, of course it was, cheap tomahawk chop.
Then 17 BW trucks the smallest kid he can find running through the celebration charge, and gets dog walked out of there.
These teams don't disappoint.

Freedom was terrible the 1st half, down 11-3 at one point in the 2nd quarter, and 11-4 at the half. Then as usual they woke up and played much better to make it 13-13. Had looks in the 2nd OT, but couldn't score. Gainesville scored with 1 second left off a transition goal.
