You must just be lazy or don't know where to look.

Based on two different websites (that I searched in under 45 sec)

District posted commits
Indy 2 (D2 and D3)
Riverside 1 (D3)
Briar 1 (D1 VMI) (+1 committed for football not lacrosse Navy)
SB 0
LR 0
PF 0

I know at least 1 more from Indy that is deciding between several offers.

This has to mean something in the argument.... The last three years records...

Independance: 37-19 (No Championships, Played No One Difficult, 0-5 vs the Rams)
Riverside: 56-6 (3 State Titles, Hardest schedule in NOVA, 5-0 vs the Tigers)

Indy is going to kill Riverside this spring...

That seems like the "Indy" logic we are used to in Loudoun.

Riverside has to lose eventually. Of course I have been saying that since the 2022 squad where they lost like 15 kids but I really do feel like this is the year they don’t win it.

Quit trying so hard. No one and I mean no one but you is adopting that name for the Tigers. They are Indy and will be Indy for the foreseeable future. But yes they have a good shot at States.

I am 100% jumping on the Pendence train. Not the hype train though as that has been derailed for years now it seems.

this site sucks when it's hyped by a school that has never done shizzle...

I still want to know what is going to change at Indy this year as opposed to the last 3 years to make it where they are that much better to win championship and beat Riverside.... Did they get some super transfer? Did they get a new coaching staff? I just dont see what the difference is?
Anonymous
There is no difference. Just new parents.

You’re right, it means a lot.
Indy was a new school in 19, Covid seasons in 20/21 and have been building a program for the last three years.
Riverside had a lot of talent that has since graduated.
Just like it means something that Stone Bridge was a team to beat and state champion at one point, but a mid program now.
Just like Briar was a powerhouse and best VHSL team a few years back and now an above average team.

Things change.

Hold on. I thought Pendence was supposed to beat Riverside last year? Per the constant posts about how good Pendence was and how Riverside lost too much. Is this Deja vu?!

Riverside only has one commit for 2025 class? Down year for them I guess.

I am guessing with Riverside that more are going the football route.

Y’all can argue lacrosse all day, but as a non Indy or Riverside football parent (side hustle lacrosse) you gotta be joking. What has Riverside won in football in the last few years? MAYBE 5 games over 4 years. I find it very hard to believe that a team as good in lacrosse and as bad in football these kids would choose to get seen via the bad team.
