“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled," Justice Alito writes in an initial majority draft

I know it’s real people typing out their obsession with fetuses, but it’s… weird. This is what they were brainwashed on, this is their talking points. They don’t want to address how forced birthers are happy to strip women of their rights as humans and citizens, how we women will have fewer legal bodily protections than a corpse would.

And they sure don’t want to address how they actively work to make life more dangerous, more polluted, less happy, hungrier, more lead filled for the living. Congratulations, you freaks have a fetus fetish. Keep your twisted interests to yourselves and work to improve the actual world instead of your near-literal navel gazing.

No, it's not about a fetish with fetuses. It's about killing growing babies.

No it's a fetish. There are many more dire and difficult problems that need attention. This fetish manipulates this issue for political gain and has for a long time. Extreme inequitiy, housing shortage, hunger, extreme environmental degradation, poorly resourced educational systems, crime, gun violence, etc. , etc. will all still just be sitting their ignored while you continue with this fetish.

Free speech.

If I ever see Alito in person I will scream at him until his ears bleed.

Alito is now the new Hitler, the new Mussolini.

I will not have my liberty downgraded because he is a sexist pig.

I will not be willingly enslaved.

Just move to Maryland or DC. Problem solved.

Not if there's a nationwide ban.

Very unlikely to happen. Abortion wasnt illegal throughout the US before RvW so it doesnt logically follow that it will be banned after.

Abortion wasn’t politicized before the way it is now. Sure Catholics opposed it but it wasn’t a core tenet of right wing ideology until later

Pre-1980's Catholics practiced what they preached. They also didn't impose their religion on to others the way the Evangelicals are now.

There is scant evidence this has happened due to anyone's religion. Many people believe abortion is murder and they have concerns with murder for many reasons, some moral and some practical.

But they are fine with the death penalty

did the baby do something wrong and go to trail to get aborted?

DP. If you believe in the sanctity of life, you should be opposed to the willful taking of all life.

+1 Is life sacred or not? Are some lives less sacred than others?

Life is sacred. It's why people are disturbed and saddened to think that over 60 MILLION developing babies have been aborted since Roe vs Wade.

Unless the baby is guilty you don't execute

What about a fetus?

It's a growing baby with your family's DNA.

And I guess the mother’s body is just a vessel that she has no control over right?

Most of those 60 million babies were not aborted because their mothers couldn't access medical care.

60 million sick or unwanted fetuses.

Who were not more valuable than the 60 million living, breathing WOMEN who were safely able to end their pregnancy.

60 million WOMEN who weren't forced to continue a pregnancy or give birth against their will.

60 million WOMEN who were able to make medical decisions with their doctors without religious fanatics forcing their beliefs on them.

You can have your views. You never ever need to have an abortion. You can have 10 pregnancies and 8 children like my neighbor if you want.

You an struggle to conceive and have IVF in an attempt to have a chd if you want.

You can decide to have one child or no children or whatever you want.

You can try to force your underage daughter to bear her rapists child if you want.

that is you private matter. Just stay out of my and my families private business and we will have peace. Turn me into a criminal and we have a problem.

Do you know anything about what happened in the country before Roe? The abortion rate was not meaningfully different than immediately after Roe (and higher than it is today). The difference is that more women died in the process. Warehouse workers came into work and found a dead body on the warehouse floor from a botched abortion overnight. Hotel housekeeping found women bled out in tubs from the same thing. Fathers and children came home from a weekend at grandma’s to find mom dead on the kitchen floor after attempting to abort herself.

More lives were lost due to abortion before Roe than after, and the same thing will happen if abortion is banned. You are living in a deluded fantasy land if you think otherwise.

Why do 50-90% of all conceptions fail to make it to birth if life is so sacred from the moment of fertilization? Please answer that.
