Sports General Discussion
Oh, aren't you just the superior one, posting about others as being trolls yet offering no insight or contributing to the topic at hand at all but instead simply calls posters names while claiming some moral high ground. Oh, the irony. |
| Thanks. We appreciate your honesty and sincerity. |
You are welcome. And yeh, same boat. One of our teams is playing an 8am game in WEST VIRGINIA. |
Geez, that's ridiculous! What age groups? I expect that CCL-travel-is-horrible-guy to show up any minute now.... |
Not us. My '05 and '08 NCSL games are all local. Farthest we drive is 30 min. Both kids are also in same place most weekends. This is much better than CCL last year for us. |
Yeah choice!!! I'm glad that a simple switch of leagues worked out for you. |
Yeh, that's what last year looked like for us (NCSL). This season just looks all jacked up for some reason. |
Because West Virginia is part of our nation's capital, the District of Columbia. I get it. And so is Solomons Island. |
| Well if ya didn't want to travel . . . |
I don't mind going to WVa...it's more about the time of day. I know for a fact most of the team will not make it on time. |
I wonder if he ever found his way back from WV? |
Really? I mind! |
| CCL question. The rules still say that U11 is included in computation of the standings. BUT on the CCL website, they no longer include U11 standings for boys and girls. Are they making some changes for this younger age group, less travel, incomplete schedule, etc., that somehow justify taking them out of of the standings? Looks like from a couple CCL club websites, they do not have a CCL U11 team. |
It is not uncommon for standings to be tracked until U12 in many leagues, especially in a Club based model like CCL. Old WAGS, NCSL or ODSL are relegation based so standing are tracked a little earlier but there is no need for CCL to do so. |
I wonder if the rules are outdated. With the age change, the CCL age groups go up to U19 (where last year the oldest was U18), so everything kind of shifted. It would make sense if the standings were now based on U12-U19, where they were U11-U18 before. |
