VHSL Boys Lacrosse 2025 Season

Totally agree, I was watching the stream. I think I saw Yorktown’s head coach handing out waters and being the water boy during the game. If you ask me he does water business instead of coaching business

Can we just admit that Yorktown beat Langley once which was fair and square but Langley just beat Yorktown again fair and square as well? Both are good teams and the entire idea that one’s game is based off of luck is insensitive to the fact these teams have put themselves in situations to work towards a state title

Could not have said it better, both are good teams, anything can happen when it comes to playoffs and best of luck to both teams in states.

Great analysis in that 15 seconds you decided to watch. If you continued to watch, Beers allowed his coordinators to have quick 30 before he brought everyone together for the last 30.

Let’s not forget, this was supposed to be a rebuild year for Yorktown. Yet, they win the district and get to the Regional final. They did a great job down the final stretch of the schedule and into playoffs after a tough start. Definitely not a sign of great coaching I guess……

Uhhh great analysis, little 3 on Yorktown was the little unwicked wizard that couldn’t case spells, number 14 got absolute discombobulated and number 29 needs to put the work in holy cow

Beer did a great coaching by being a good water boy and handing them out to his little wizard 3

Beer should tell him not to be such a dirty player. It’s better to be known for skill than for cheap shots.

Especially the pole on Yorktown #2 just slashing for no reason. Slashed two poles and the ref didn’t call it at all

Yorktown has the most unwelcoming, rude parents. From the moment you enter the stadium and are snapped at when buying tickets, to the dads behind the visitor bench trash talking CHILDREN.
“Welcome to Yorktown, we are so irritated that you’re here”

The L-YT game was even more lopsided than the 15-6 score suggests. YT is not a top team. Not nearly as strong as Madison. Madison 13-5 over YT earlier in the season. But YT won when it counted and secured the District L1 seed. How they beat Langley in Districts is surprising.

A lot depends on the Yorktown/Langley game tomorrow. If Langley wins, I think it will be a Langley/Robinson final. If Yorktown wins, I think it will be a Cosby/Robinson final.

A1 - Cosby
B2 - Freedom

D1 - Yorktown or Langley
C2 - West Potomac

C1 - Robinson
D2 - Yorktown or Langley

B1 - Battlefield
A2 - Deep Run

A1 - Cosby
B2 - Battlefield/Freedom/Gainesville Loser

D1 - Langley
C2 - Robinson/West Potomac Loser

C1 - Robinson/West Potomac Winner
D2 - Yorktown

B1 - Battlefield/Freedom/Gainesville Winner
A2 - Deep Run

Anyone know who has home field for the State semis if teams have the same seed?

hey to the YT booster dads chirping behind the langley bench, get a life, your team sucks this year its that simple, taking out your frustrations on some highschool kids is embarrassing, get a life

YT parent here (not a “booster dad”) but we know exactly who your talking about and let’s just say we are not happy, unfortunately these guys donate thousands of dollars to the program so if they want to sit behind the langley bench then that’s what’s gonna happen.

Except for those of us who pull for Robinson
