Ehhhh....no. They lost to ML 26 by 5 goals in Fall. And ML is just average.

So how many VLC kids already have invites?

Hearing just a couple on both U13 and U14 at least in that first 10-12

Curious which u14 VLC players got a spot because their best middie got a call back and I’m pretty sure none of their attack got called back. Maybe their Fogo and stud long pole?

A “couple” is not dominating. BLC has at least 5 invites out of 13 who tried out from the first round on U13. I know of at least one for NL. All three clubs have great kids who will contribute. No “domination” required.

Just learned that the 10-11 that made first cut were asked to be there for the January call-back. Anyone think we'll be able to tell from a different jersey or something who those kids are? Asking for DS

no chance. but those kids and parents will tell others out there.

Agreed sounds like at u14 the boys were told only 10-12 would be invited initially. Those boys all know who has Beeninvited and who has a callback and who got a firm “no”.7-8th grade chatter over video games and text strings

The January tryout this month will be much smaller as I believe almost 70 boys were at initial tryouts. I guess the plan was to get the core standouts to commit and then build out rest of team around them?

I posted earlier And don’t think any of the boys on any of the b teams got a yes or callback. (From NL or DCE) anyone else heard of any? It’s all fine but does seem like maybe the team has been put together though sources other than just the initial tryout. Which shouldn’t be surprising. Sigh.

No chance this team is going to be picked off of 2 tryout practices. And no chance a B team player would make it unless there were extraordinary circumstances like a huge growth spurt or the kid joined the club after tryouts and the B team was the only slot available. The A team 2027's at NL are better than any B team player on BLC or VLC. If your player is down the roster and has a good tryout, maybe he makes the bottom side of the team.

Anyone have any idea what the pre-tournament practices for Black Ops is going to be like?

I'm not even sure the coaches have been officially announced. Lots of speculation, but nothing told to parents yet.
