Neither are the 19s. Again, this composite age group always has and will always be a mixed bag. However, the U17 age group is the real deal. That's why area teams never bring home top results in that age group. |
The whole point has flown over your head. You are not at all discussing what I’m even talking about. |
No, it hasn't. However, my point has flown over yours. The "great" area teams were not built from the ground up. They were built via talent acquisition throughout the years. Some of the acquisition was recruting. Some of it was self-motivated player movement. As long as good players are free to move, talent will find a way to consolidate. |
Point to a current local great U17 team then. |
That's my point. You cant. They only become "great" when entering the u18/U19 age group when it's easier to snatxh a title because teams start falling apart in those years because of graduation. Are you tracking yet? |
Pipeline! |
1. FCV 2. Richmond 3. Maryland United 4-8: who knows how it will shake out with Metro U, BRYC, VDA, Mclean, and Bethesda. In my opinion having seen all of them play, the reality is that none of them are ready to challenge the top 3 (and my daughter plays on one of the teams I have said are 4-8). |
Pipeline is not considered local. |
This still hurts your feeling. 9: Richmond 38: VDA 45: Maryland U 54: BRYC 58: Bethesda 62: Loudoun 70: McLean |
|
2007
1. Fcv 2. Loudoun 3. McLean 4. Arlington 5. Bethesda |
FCV should be moved to the back of this list. MD United should be added between Loudoun and McLean. |
|
2005
1. Pipeline 2. FCV 3. WS MD/Armour 4. McLean 5. Bethesda/Rush 6. VDA 7. Arlington |
Has anyone seen VDA 07? |
| Have these kids even played on 11v11? |
They are weak. |
