As a Dem, I'd rather see us tell leftists to go pound sand. If we embraced working class people and focused on economics rather than identity politics, we'd never lose another election again. Even with all his woes, Trump is ahead of Biden is a fair number of polls which is not good.

We live in an area (Montgomery Co., MD) that allows males to play girls' sports and use their bathrooms and locker rooms as long as they say they are girls which is simply insane. Bastardizing the very law that helped women and girls gain so much ground over the past 50 years to accommodate men with a mental disorder is bonkers.
You may be one of the few voters where that is your big issue. You are entitled to that. Just saying it is just not a big issue for most in the scheme of things. And it is not for lack of the gop trying.

Sorry but leftism is racist, sexist, and anti-science and they have too much influence on our party. I and many other non-leftist Democrats have no way to influence Republicans other than voting against them. That becomes increasingly difficult when my party supports illiberal laws and policies that would directly harm my family due to their sex and skin color. There are enough people who feel like me that Trump is in danger of winning in 2024. I would like to see my party dump identity politics and go all in on economics.

All the people among your family and friends that have been sexually assaulted, or are gay, or have had an abortion, or need birth control, or fertility treatments among situations, might appreciate the Dems fighting for their protection and rights.
