Besides Warren, she is the only one capable day one.

No, Whitmer is capable from day one. Raimondo is capable from day one.

Raimondo isn't for this year, I do see her running in the future maybe even 2024, for the presidency.

It seems a bit foolish to compare the experience of Rice with Whitmer. I think they are on completely different tiers.

Perhaps- Whitmer is ready from day one. Rice should have run against Susan Collins in Maine.

Please explain their extensive foreign policy experience? None is the answer and Russia/North Korea/China/Iran will pounce

Rice played an integral role in quashing Ebola. She won’t need months of briefing to get up to speed on foreign policy. She probably has some of our closest allies on speed dial.

Well, on everyone except Rice, who is politically toxic. So what's the best choice of his remaining options?

Well, the PP who asked not to compare. I was actually putting Rice way above Whitmer!

Apparently she is personally toxic -- by the way she behaves.

Yikes. So ignorant. Michigan's largest trading partner is Canada - and they do tons of joint initiatives on terrorism and crime, etc. She has as much experience as Obama had when he ran - and she would surround herself with other smart people unlike the current Borgia-esque regime.

Canada is not hostile to the US. Talk about ignorance.

Please explain or is this just another sexiest post about a woman who doesn’t act “proper” and in her place. Perhaps she is too “aggressive”. Meanwhile, no one would blink twice if it was a guy. I haven’t heard any reports about her being difficult to work with like Klochubar.

Yep, talking about yours. Rice has zero governing experience and has never won elected office. FFS.

Doesn't matter who it is, the GOP will just make up shit if they have to. May as well go with Rice.

Go back perhaps 8 pages; there was an article linked that talked about how she even manages to turn allies into enemies by being abrasive. I don’t know how much of that is sexist bullcrap, maybe it all it. But there was a whole thing about it.

Mmmm, kind of they are, now. Literally a shoe with a D after it would be better on foreign policy than any of the traitors in the GOP. They’ve managed to make every ally hold us at arm’s length and have cozied up to just about every single dictatorship on the planet.
