Hayfield Football Coach Fired

Certainly Reid is planning on attending this game to show her support for Hayfield and against Edison? I would pay $10 just to give her a piece of my mind.

Hint, hint.

Again, an adult scheming ways of picking on kids and not appropriately handling this via adult routes. What is wrong with you?

Rich entitled NOVA parents who think their kid is special and somehow in their way to making it to the NFL or an SEC school and somehow Hayfield is stopping their kids from getting there. This is peak NOVA and I love the drama. My kids went to Annandale and managed to make it to great schools and grad schools based on academics and soccer, but this football drama is so juicy. Keep it going I’m loving this

You've got the wrong district, dear. These schools aren't for the rich families. But of course, only the other posters on this thread are drama queens, not you.

Nonsense. The only people who care about winning football games and playing in college are the Hayfield nuts.

Normal parents do care about cheating, integrity and sportsmanship.

Will the Hayfield cheerleaders, band and dance team kids finally get their senior night tonight, even if Edison doesn't show up?

The chanting is directed at the coaches.

Is it true that other there were times that coaches would tell their teams to take delay of games after the mercy rule running clock went into effect to limit the damage? That is INSANE. Those coaches should be fired. At the end of the day, it's still a tactical game regardless of the talent you have. If you're a good coach, you can scheme something up or coach up the team to figure it out the best way you can with what you have.

Defector said so in their article, and I that reporter was at one of the games where it happened.

lol, yes it did happen, it was the South County coach that did that. But what’s funny is when he was doing it to other schools it was never a problem. TBH, smart coaches move, though

If your kids go to west Springfield, Lake Braddock or Robinson you’re rich.

Nine of these kids are making an SEC school to play D1 football. If they are it’s like ok out of all of these schools.

This is peak NOVA and peak FFX. I love it

I thought it was smart. Why get your players injured when forced to play against cheaters? The best option is to deprive the cheaters of racking up stats, game clips, and the actual game of football. The coaches had limited tools at their disposal.

What's sad is almost every Hayfield game was barely a football game, with the clock running and coaches delaying tactics. They only played one real game all season. What was the point?

What’s funny is the game is run block tackle and catch. Alot of their games are over after the first quarter. This is simple, a lot of teams are defeated mentally before the game even starts. Now after the game starts the snowball effect happens. This is coaching on BOTH sides

You have an odd definition of rich in a county where Langley exists.

Doesn't the hayfield team have multiple kids commited to D1 schools?

This is like Friday night lights but with else’s attractive and more annoying entitled people.

As someone who grew up in Europe where football and rugby is ingrained into our culture we don’t have school drama like this. And by football I mean real football not padded up fat guys who work for 10 seconds and get a break.

If I knew American schools would be like this I would have moved here sooner to watch the drama unfold.

Me to, I don't like it when South County does it, I don't like it when Fairfax does it and I don't like it when Hayfield does it.

I didn't realize that Fairfax and South County brought in 20+ transfers in one season. Thanks for keeping me in the know.

I didn't realize VHSL placed a number on right/wrong. Thanks for acknowledging wrongdoing is ok, as long as you don't do too much.
