Langley must have a bunch. Are you sure they don’t have more than 5?

Actually, Woodson is first with 7 titles. Here are the 6A numbers since 1993 updated through this year (30)

WTWoodson-7
Robinson-6
Oakton-6
Centerville-2
Madison-2
Langley-2
Chantilly-1
McLean-1
Westfield-1
W.Albemarle-1
Yorktown-1

Note that WA got another one this time as a Class 4 school this year.

I’m an idiot then! Thanks!

Not sure on history on other classes where some of these schools could have won one (or more previously) at a different level.

Anyone have a video link for the Oakton v. Battlefield championship game?

The VHSL record book shows Oakton’s 4 championships (now 5) as the most. Any others must have been prior to Class 6 or 6A designations.

Their records aren’t that great for lacrosse. Also Not sure they kept/recognized it before the early 2000’s but it’s been played since at least the 90’s.

From 1995-2004, in a 10 year span, WT Woodson won 5 Region and 5 State titles. Coach Darah Bonham's record was 144-22

Ohh yes this has to happen!! I live in MD but would drive over the bridge in rush hour to watch that S show happen. I'll bring some extra flip-flops so the redneck moms have shit to throw at one another while the dads all at the refs.

Don't forget to wear your Huk shirt, sailing shoes and Costa sunglasses. You can pace the sideline while cradling your circa 2002 stick. Talking about rednecks while you have the likes of PG and Cecil county is always a good laugh.

Great comeback. I come from neither tribe, but my sympathies might have to be with the BF side after that call out...

And the lax dads with their sticks on the sidelines at girls' games. Do you think they are going to ask you to play? Cracks me up.

1996, 1997, 1999 (undefeated), 2000 were region/ state titles. Believe there were a few more after that.

Maybe they picked up one of the Yorktown player’s sticks during an injury timeout
