Blake and Ryan on the other hand look like unhinged giant a-holes who made taking over this movie their whole personality, to the point where they are no longer talking to the godmother of their daughters and they’ve embarrassed Sony and WME executives and a-listers like Matt and Ben.

I think you just aren't willing to open up your eyes to what looks bad for him. I think Blake and Ryan look terrible after reading their emails and texts, but Justin also seems awful. The issue is that his texts and emails aren't aggressive like Blake and Ryan. Instead he just lies and plays the victim and is obsequious and fake all the time. I'd actually rather deal with someone aggressive and arrogant like Blake or Ryan. Seriously. If you look at Justin's emails and texts in isolation, it's like "aw, poor guy." When you look at them altogether and read his deposition, I'm like "dude, you're an a$$hole."

I have no doubt that Justin is insufferable, but my point was this latest round has been really bad for Blake and Ryan. Even the media that are usually friendly to them cannot resist having dirt on Taylor Swift and Taylor is not coming off great. I’m a swift fan and I get the defense that she was not really sure what was going on and believing her friend and blah blah blah but she looks like she was scheming and that she lied to the public when she said she wasn’t involved. She was pretty intimately involved.

And I always wondered why in her public statement from last year when she said she had nothing to do with this, and she didn’t even see the movie until several weeks after it was released, why she said that. Was it just an unnecessary dig at Blake? And now it’s seems clear from the texts that Blake gave her the login to the advanced screen just like Matt and Ben. So I wonder if she was even part of weighing on the final cut. There’s still tons of more documents that have not been released so we shall see.

But yes, my point was I don’t think Justin is a saint, but there were no salacious headlines this round. There’s nuance that people are digging into over on Reddit, but for the general public reading mainstream media its all Blake and Ryan because it’s just too good that they can involve Taylor, matt and Ben and also Ryan insulting executives at WME and Sony.

But neither Ryan or Taylor are on trial here, and the stuff people are mad about isn't even relevant to the case. People on reddit getting mad that Taylor's public statement about her involvement in the movie was sort of (but not entirely) misleading will have zero bearing on the outcome of this case.

Most of those emails and texts wouldn't be admissible in court anyway. A lot of the stuff people are mad about is just noise.

On the actual legally relevant aspects of the case, I think plenty has come out that makes Justin look bad. The depositions of key people, including Justin, Jenny Slate, Jamey Heath, Alex Sachs, the intimacy coordinator, Isabella, Ange Giannetti, and Blake all make Justin sound bad at his job, arrogant, unable to take responsibility for problems, childish, and sometimes lazy.

No major studio is ever hiring Justin to direct a movie again, I can say that. Even if he's exonerated on the SH stuff. Just based explicitly on what a bad director/leader he appears to have been on this movie. I think it's very damaging to his professional reputation.

I don’t think you know what “legally relevant” means

That's the hallmark of the Blake bots. Prattling on and on about how Justin must have sexually harassed someone because Blake and her crew of mean girls just didn't like him. Completely clueless about the many Blake allegations that have been exposed as lies, the way that will play with a jury, and the actual remaining legal issues.

Agree with this. Very bad that he had major problems on two sets in a row when he was in a position of authority.

Time will tell with Blake. She's beautiful but not a huge talent, and through no fault of her own nearing her Hollywood sell-by date anyway. The smartest thing she could do is headline a glossy Apple series a la Jennifer Aniston and Jon Hamm. Ryan will emerge unscathed, if only because none of this was a secret to studio execs anyway. The fact that the public wasn't aware of his dark side is meaningless.

This is delusional. Apple’s not offering her a TV show lol. She has nothing lined up. No studio will touch her - TV or movie.

Ryan will emerge unscathed? OK. Paramount canceled three things they were going to do with him. They’re not renewing his production contract that expires at the end of this year. But yea he’s doing just fine.

No one cares if you don't like Justin, posting it four times in a row doesn't change that.

Blake is lucky she married a rich man, because her texts and behavior make her look like a lunatic.

The multiple exclamation points and tired retread of the same "Blake sucks! She's crazy!" comments with no substance would indicate that there is a bot here, and it's you. Sorry, kiddo. Maybe try unplugging and then plugging back in?

I'm not the one posting the same drivel over and over in quick succession.

Blake is definitely not beautiful. She is average looking.

Boy would I love to see what you look like. I can guess.

DP. Her beauty is irrelevant. She is done.

Yes, I do. I’m an attorney.

It sure if she had been discussed before because I’m new to this thread. But “Not Actually Golden” on Tik tok is an attorney with a lot of civil litigation experience in federal court and she does a nice job of breaking down the pleadings, discovery etc as they become available. As a fellow civil litigation attorney, albeit not one who has practiced in the realm of sexual harassment etc, I find her analysis top notch. She doesn’t think BL has a leg to stand on regarding the remaining claims based on what is publicly available

She's been discussed. The Blake bots hate her.

Since quite a bit is not yet publicly available, her analysis is premature at best.

Given that everything has been unsealed and summary judgment is when both parties use their best evidence, you are incorrect.

No one thinks Justin is a saint, people are defending him because he's being accused of career-ending allegations. Why don't the "neutral" people or pro-Blake people seem to get?

Imagine your loved one was accused of rape when the evidence heavily suggests they weren't. Someone deciding to be mealy-mouthed by saying, "the accused and the accuser are both bad" does not make them nuanced.

It is so disturbing that Justin actually fits the mold of the "imperfect victim," not Blake.

And Blake isn’t your friend so why are you riding so hard for an aging dumb dumb who lied about sexual harassment?

Is JB not aging? Plenty of much younger better looking men who are going to take the leading roles he may have had a chance at. He's toxic now.
